JTF-191 was formed in June of 2020 and is composed of 5 squadrons with 40+ active members. We operate as a tactical realism group with an emphasis on joint operations with all branches of military aviation. Ultimately the goal is to have the most fun we can. We have a detailed training program for all new pilots that focuses on teaching a working knowledge of the airframe and relevant tactics. Our training is built to both teach new pilots about their selected airframes or to provide refreshers to experienced pilots. With detailed courses on everything from take-off and landings to air-to-air tactics, the training program is designed to ensure you are comfortable in your role and up to the task of joining our ranks. JTF-191 has a unit level overseen system to provide training and check-off to entrants. The intent of this program is to ensure that all new members start with a baseline level of familiarity with their selected airframe, general aviation procedures, and military procedures and tactics. Depending on your background, availability, and dedication this program may take longer or shorter. The typical time for a player new to DCS is about a month. The maximum allowed time to remain in the entrant training program (exceptions for communicated absences and special circumstances) is six months, we want to get you in your squadron quickly. The entrant training program is overseen by Unit Level Command and Instructor Pilots, within the unit, in each squadron and J7. Should you have an issue with entry training or the JTF-191 use the Entry Training Channel in the JTF Discord. This channel is viewed by all the JTF and qualified members can coordinate training times and topics. While in the Entrant Training Program, pilots are assigned to VT-7 for the Navy and Marines and the 89th FTS for the Air Force. For those brand new to DCS, military aviation, or aviation in general the entrant program is geared to provide detailed training. An instructor in your unit or like units will work with you to introduce various new concepts and get your skills to a point where self-improvement is possible. For those who are experienced with DCS and military aviation the entrant program acts as a refresher and check-off on skills. When working with you, the instructor will simply act to certify what you already know and can do. Where necessary they will provide refreshment on concepts or teach things you have not before encountered. During your time in the Entrant Program, you are absolutely welcome to join in on JTF wide events and squadron events. In fact, we encourage that. We want you to meld with your parent squadron. Upon finishing your training, you are placed into an operational squadron with a custom livery made just for you. Each squadron handles their own training, keeping their pilots skills up to par with the unit standards. We have several dedicated servers that are up 24/7 and a unit-wide mission night every Saturday. Saturday missions range from fun PvP missions to organized pre-planned sorties built in an ongoing deployment campaign. We are always actively looking for pilots to fly with us! We are looking for: Pilots for the F/A-18, F-16, F14B (RIO’s too!), and the F-15E. Mission planners of any experience, C2 Personnel (AWACS, GCI, Marshall/ATC), Instructor pilots to strengthen our training program, and website developers! Join us at www.jtf191.com Upon receiving your application, we will reach out to you via email promptly.

161 Squadron is a primarily Australian / New Zealand group (aka: ANZAC) that flies DCS. We are a relaxed and diverse group of mature DCS flight sim enthusiasts. Our team skill level extends from beginners to the flight sim genre, to the veteran DCS combat simulator pilots. Our focus as a team is to get everyone flying at tasking level over time, and everybody involved is constantly learning new things about the game. The secret to our success is to keep things casual with a beer in hand, yet using the small hours we have to create realistic, immersive missions for our mission nights. We understand that inside every new DCS trainee nugget is an awesome death-dealing combat pilot trying to get out. It takes a little time, patience and guidance to make that happen and you can find all that in the 161 SQN. We play on Tuesdays and Sundays in the DCS Community Teamspeak Channels, with around 10 pilots attending most sessions many more on the roster. Our Discord: https://discord.gg/2uvCmqP3kY

We are a North American based group operating primarily in the evening hours between the PST and EST timezones, but we accept applicants from all over the world as long as they can adapt to our schedule. We try to operate as close to real world standards and tactics as we can without the burden of turning our DCS hobby into a full time job. ■ https://51stvirtualfighterwing.net/ ■ https://discord.gg/51stVFW ■

The Aeronautica Militare Virtuale Italiana (AMVI) has its roots at the end of the year 2000 when a group of friends passionate about simulation and real flight decided to get together and start what it would become the first Italian multi-simulator community. Since then 20 years have passed, the community has grown numerically and educationally claiming under its name over 60 active pilots. AMVI follows the same hierarchical structure as the Italian Air Force. It is comprised of an Headquarter (Stato Maggiore Aeronautica Virtuale) responsible for defining the guidelines of the whole community while the Air Combat Command (Comando Squadra Aerea Virtuale), Air Education and Training Command (Comando Scuole Virtuale), and Public Affair Agency (Reparto Affari Generali) that constitute the beating heart of AMVI, managing planning, public relations and overall training of the pilots. Every organism above mentioned is managed by selected AMVI member on the basis of availability and knowledge on the subject. After almost 15 years of using Falcon 4.0 (Falcon BMS) and IL2 Sturmovik AMVI decided to employ DCS World from Eagle Dynamics as its simulator of choice. This decision has unified all pilots under a single simulator facilitating and enhancing interoperability of all the parties involved. DCS has given the opportunity to employ more assets such as Helicopters (Ka-50 Black Shark and UH1) and task such as flight controllers, AWACS operators and JTACs for the coordination of CAS procedures. As of today, AMVI employs the following aircrafts: F-16C, F/A-18C, A-10C, Ka50, UH-1H, F-5 and BF109. Having such a wide variety of aircrafts with difference performance and requirements calls for an absolute respect for procedures and regulations. We pride ourselves of following to the letter the operational procedures used in real life by real pilots. Our academic syllabus in structured in a way that no prior experience before entering this world is needed to start, the only real requirements is your passion and your time. Our instructors will guide you through the learning process from the ground up. Along with you there will be others with whom you could train and ingrain discipline, love for flying and comradery. The love for flying is not enough to prosper in AMVI, at the base of our community there’s a perpetual need to read, learn and practice the fundamentals of flying. It is a long process but it’s the most rewarding of all. The learning process never ends, there is always something to revise, learn and put to practice. When the time comes you will take part in multiple campaigns aimed at consolidating the procedures you’ve learned. International campaigns with other virtual squadron usually take place twice a year, quite an effort really considering the amount of players involved (over 70). If what you have read so far meets your expectations, come to our website (hyperlink) or forum and think about joining our community. - DCS World modules: Combined Arms, DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer, DCS: Black Shark, DCS: F-16C Viper, DCS: F/A-18C Hornet, DCS: P-51D Mustang - Employed tools: DCS Simple Radio Standalone, LotAtc - Covered roles: Air Traffic Control (ATC), Airborne Warning and Control (AWAC), Joint Attack Terminal Controller (JTAC), Pilot
