Recruitment is a vital aspect for every squadron.

Rather than quantity we are looking for quality.

Attitude, discipline, a self-motivated personality and being able to integrate into a team are key aspects on a personal scale.

Whether being new or an experienced pilot, we welcome all levels of experience!

 

 

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum age is 18 years.
  • Must be in possession of an own copy of DCS world openbeta, incl. NEVADA, PERSIAN GULF.
  • Must participate in a min. amount of training sorties/ missions per months.
  • Must comply with Operating Instructions of the 421stvFS.

 

 

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

The initial step of any recruitment is a personal interview or small-talk where we get to know you and tell you more about ourselves. Its the baseline to ensure you will be happy within the 421stvFS.

Following a successful interview, a short demo flight will be scheduled during which future candidates shall be able to fly following manoeuvrers:

  • Basic Start-up

  • Taxi Procedures

  • Take-off

  • Landing

  • Shutdown

 

The demo flight is less of a test but rather to see at which level you are. If you are an expert, our Transition Course will help you to smoothly slot into our operation. If you are new to DCS or the Viper, our IPs will train you, during the Basic-Course, to proficiency in all handling matters.

Once through the Basic or Transition Course, new joiners will start their IQT and MQT training and being introduced to the F-16C Bl. 50 weapon systems, mission planning, tactics and associated manoeuvrers.

You will experience both, challenge and fun while enjoying flying with like-minded pilots.
