A F/A-18E will be a complete new module, no a C "upgrade". Wags was clear on the February Q&A, when the F/A-18C will complete, they start to think if move a Rhino module.

I'm aware of Steam's standard refund policy... In my case, Steam Support said they're willing to consider a refund as an exception, but only if the developer (ED) confirms it.

Actually that's not entirely accurate: the only Module with encrypted textures so far is the F-5E Remastered, and the much later F4U-1 is not encrypted ... so, I wouldn't call it "a standard", at least not yet. However, I fully support your wish and hopefully ED will pay attention. I purchased the F-5E remaster upgrade completely unaware of this problem, and consequently I have barely flown it and have not made any misions for it, but there is no way for me to pre-purchase the MiG-29 on this circumstances.

You're not using flaps at all. Drop them to 20 degrees for land take offs and 30 for carrier take offs. You're also losing control of the nose on take off, you want to keep that pitched a lot lower. The flaps definitely help there. Basically, you're taking off too early, letting the nose yank high, killing any airspeed you've had, and plopping back down. Rotate above 100KIAS, not before. Gently stick back. Just a little touch back to get it off the runway if it's not taking off on its own. As soon as you're in the air, level out and start to gain airspeed. Bring up your landing gear once you've established 125KIAS which is also your best rate of climb. Then, bring up your flaps one notch at a time. Bring up the first notch to 10 degrees, stabilize, then bring up it up to clean. If you rush the flaps up, then the nose will want to jump upwards.

The order to avoid fighters wasn't type specific. Goering didn't give a hoot what was mounted on a Bf109. He just wanted his boss Adolf to stop interrupting his heroin and partying. Shooting down fighters did not get the attention of the Gröfaz but Bombers turning cities to rubble sure did. Shooting down bombers and ignoring fighters came from the very top. It was one of huge strategic mistakes made by the Luftwaffe that Galland and many other Field Grade officers relate in Post War POW interrogations. Galland wanted to push the Jagdgeschwader forward in order to attack Allied formations over England and the Channel concentrating on fighter escorts. The idea was to force allied fighters to fight and either shoot them down as they struggled to keep their tanks or drop their tanks leaving them useless for long range escort. The heavy fighters and JU88's could then attack the unescorted bombers over europe. Goering nixed that plan because his boss wanted bombers not fighters.

So I'm bin having some trouble with the radios for the last months : They stop working after a couple of minutes. Yes, I'm using easy communications. At the strat of a (self made) mission, yyou can contact ATC, tankers or AWACS, no problem what so ever. Yet after a X amount of minutes, the radios, or communications stop working : you still hear yourself call ATC, tankers or a AWACS but there is no response. Is anyone here familiar with this problem, and maybe know a sollution ? (For your information, I'm using a lot of mods in DCS)

There are probably lots of ways to improve it, get it more streamlined, make it use less download volume and run faster. Then again, even today data transfers tend to cost money once they go beyond the threshold of what Google, MS and so on offer for free. That's even more the case when users routinely max out their connection, which I believe most of us can when downloading DCS updates. So if it's cheaper for ED to offer the bandwidth and transfer volumes the way they currently do, rather than optimizing the download system, I'd say it probably runs as well as it should.

Windows can see the Cougar throttle when I plug it in but the only thing recognized is the micro stick, not buttons...nothing. What might be the problem? I have the stand alone USB adapter and the microstick and antenna pot installed. Its been years since I use it but I'm hoping to use it for a 1:1 pit.

When I try to change the loadout of own flight or the opposing flight, the loadout dropdown is empty, forcing me to arm each pylon one by one. Is this intended or am I doing something wrong?

I'd prefer the legacy upgrade for now. But I'm sure there's room for both.

When starting instant action for A-4E-C I get the error message (attached) that CH-47 and CH-53 mods are incompatible with the A-4E-C and have to be removed. After clicking "ignore" the instant action still starts wnullithout any noticeable functions missing. What's going on?

Just played a few times with the Mustang. Take Offs and landig. All good. Why is the Corsair so hard to handle ? Specifically take off is so hard.
