  2. Were you using the default SEAD task? I delete the default ones and use Search Then Engage usually. Gives more predictable behavior. I don't recall seeing my SEAD flights going in for gun kills in recent missions.
  3. Hello, Until recently I could designate with the FLIR up to 8 targets in TOO mode and then quickly release them once in range. Now I can only designate two on the same pylon (Too_1 and Too_2). These coordinates are assigned to the rest of JDAMS, if I try to modify them they overwrite the previous ones. Attached .track! Any suggestion? Thanks! jdam.trk

  5. Not at all, just think in basic logic and build up complexity using triggers and conditions, flags (variables) and actions. It's not hard, but it is intimidating/confusing at first. That's why the manual answers about 90%+ of all the questions asked on these forums; it's the last 10% where you really need to learn Lua and the DCS Scripting engine. I think your attitude is not helping you learn this. If you want more one-to-one help, DM me and we can talk about what you need and ways of making it work. One of the biggest problems the M.E. has is you can't copy/paste triggers/waypoint actions etc between units or between mission files/maps. That means there is A LOT of repetition every time you want to build a mission. Unless you manually hack the .miz lua file, but that can be dangerous if you don't really, really know what you're doing. As I said, I know it initially is frustrating that we're dealing with 90's tech here, but if you can get past that, you can still make great missions/campaigns, but the workload and frustration as you rub up against the tech and the limitations of the mission editor etc will still drive you nuts.

  7. Yeah, you dream big but they don't even have a team able to be dedicated to such a task - years of work. I propose small step ahead instead, just a basic start, basic functions, and then move on to the better and more detailed simulation, soldier, terrain and assets when tech and resources allow.
  8. Personally I lower the gamma by 5 stops when I fly ED modules during the day. At night I have to raise it again. With RAZBAM modules there’s no need to do that. That being said, this is the wrong section of the forum to post this. Have a look here instead:
  9. OK, I have progress insofar as I have my JTAC working (but not the reaper drone yet) and can contact him and go through the whole 9 line procedure, ending with cleared to engage. He is set to lase target using 1688 in the ME. I have WAS'd my laser hellfires, LST code is set A, A is 1688 in the set up. I have TRAJ set to Hi ( tried LO as well) I am aligned with the target, the missile is showing code A & R, but I am not seeing "remote" in the TADS...unsurprisingly, its not tracking when I fire the missile whgich following the guide here at minute 5, I should be. I have also been following Wags video from last year here: Which has a really clear description, but goes about it differently, by using LST auto mode on the TEDAC. I have tried this as well and get the tads performing its 4 bar scan but it never picks up the laser. I am somewhat limited in my ability to fault track whats happening as I cant see any way to check if the JTAC is actually lasing....which may be the issue. As I am pretty sure I followed both tutorial procedures properly ..... So, A) How do I check if teh JTAC is lasing? & B) why dont I get the "remote" notification in the TADS? C) Anything else I may be missing? One final question, have not mooved on to teh reaper drone acting as JTAC yet, but is its laser affected by clouds? Or is this not implemented yet? Thank you

  12. Soon.... I really hope that this map has a good level of modelling, especially at low altitudes for helo flights... after all, we're in 2024 and the helicopter world in DCS has evolved considerably. Screenshots with good luminosity at low altitude are pretty rare... which is why I've decided to wait and see what users have to say once the map is available before ordering it myself.

(а других и не было ) и сделал это не потому что удобно/не удобно. А потому что это ближе к органу управления реального ЛА. Если бы реальный ЛА управляться надувание мехов баяна с позе лотоса... купил бы баян. потому что дело вообще не удобстве! а в стремлении к соответствию (насколько это позволяют условия).

  19. In my opinion the zoom function should be replaced by simulated binoculars (correct model for the aircraft timeline) that a real pilot would take onboard. Historically, many aircraft/pilots did carry them for search and ID purposes.

Just to add to this thread as i found more info, even if its info from the D model and maybe those systems are older it may prove valuable to devs. There is info about CMWS integrated in the ASE of the airframe If you search for the public "TM 1-1520-240-10" of the D model https://www.chinook-helicopter.com/Publications/CH-47D_Technical_Publications/Operators_Manual/TM_1-1520-240-10.pdf You can search for terms like CMWS or MWS in the pdf. There are description of systems under the RWR that indicates there is too a MWS. For example, a Figure 4-1-7. AN/ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispenser System (CMDS) diagram.In page 224.   23. Has there been any progress on this point? It still isn't possible to tell who's who on LINK 16 outside of your own team members in the DCS F-16C. Both the DCS A-10C and F/A-18C has had an equivalent feature for ages, I don't see why we can't have it in the DCS F-16C as well?

  26. Нет. Серость это людей сортировать. При чём так скупо. Всего на две группы - на хардкорщиков и казуалов. Как будто быть где-то посередине уже не по-пацански. Я сам летаю на джойстике и с люстрой на голове, но с метками и внешними видами. А лет двенадцать назад летал на клаве и с бесконечным оружием. Вот мне в Тундру или может в ГТА? А мой вопрос: почему у вас строгое "или-или"? Между линекой и пиу-пиу должен градиент какой-то быть.
