Looking at the percentage of people in squads that actually donate anything over $20 is a good indicator. I doubt most people would pay that much for a video game. I know...IT'S A SIMULATOR!! Still I wouldn't due to the other less expensive games I buy that do pretty well. It would have to seriously do things far above current offerings. I just don't see how a sim could be produced that was so far advanced that it could justify that retail price. When my wifw pointed out how much I spend on gaming stuff I pointed out it is half of what I used to spend on golf, or other formes of entertainment. Now would I spend $500 on a cool peice of gaming gear....we all have.

I'm sure if you guys contact Polecat at the 104th he'll be able to help. No too many know the sim as well as he does.

I wish maps couls be more easily made (globally) to we could make missions that match global events. Rather than just being stuck in one region. There could be some cool briefings with news clips etc.

Well said Crunch, There are no other flightsims that have us all as excited as FC/DCS. I hope they make a lot of money selling add ons etc so they stay in business. My wish for the next aircraft would be the Harrier. The Jump Jet is an engineering piece of AWESOME!!! Think of the things we could all do in the game by having a fighter with vertical take off. My hats off to the FC3 developers. This sim just keeps getting better. My wife is gonna shoot me one day because of it!!! :pilotfly:

I've had the X 52 pro and loved it, was convinced to buy the Cougar and at first it was awesome! But poor quality parts made it crap in about 2 years or less. Now I have the CH Fighter Stick, Pro Thottle, and Peddals. Its good, you must get into the programing stuff but you can program the crap out it! If you're like me, I hate the programing stuff so I just get profiles from folks like Rugbutt and Crunch. You'll have a long lasting stick but it still feels like a toy. My understanding is thrustmaster is fixing the problems with their Warthog stick...I wait for reviews after 6 months to see if they have. One of my squad mates Jojo has had almost every damn stick made (ok, well a lot of them) and he swears by the X65F. He did tell me that it took some gettign used to as the stickj doesn't move. He mentioned you must bee tuned into to trimming your aircraft. But he also said he didn't think he'd fly other stick again. But....it's Jojo, he''s got five sticks, so we'll see. I also have a squad mate, Machingun that likes the Logitech G940. I've not flown that one but love the force feed back idea. I have a lot of Logitech gear and it all works perfectly!!! One thing I will probably get back to is all metal construction. If CH would just do that they'd be the perfect stick.

Hey Tyger, what would you think of removing AIM 120's and only allowing F15's to carry AIM 7's? This would prevent the "spam and run" that always happens. Just a thought. May make the mission a little more even sided.
