  1. Stable and Openbeta were merged about a week or so ago. I wouldnt even worry about it anymore. The mod is working for me fine
  2. Any radio communications were not transmitting. Even with starting a freeflight with the plane already inflight. Also this issue ONLY started in Version 2.9. It was very frustrating trying to find out what was wrong. I eventually found someone discussing the specific radio binding for the module and decided to experiment. It seems that if I rebind '\' to Radio 1 in the F15E I am able to transmit and recieve. Once i rebind '\' back to "Communication menu" itll work as well until I restart the mission or select a new one. Then i have to start this process all over again. EDIT: Okay finally figured it out myself unfortunately. Having the mic switch to 'On' is not enough in my case to be able to transmit to ATC or any other radios. In order for radio communications to work I had to put it into 'RAD ORIDE'. This is an odd change between 2.8 and 2.9 that i dont remember noted anywhere but im glad I figured it out. EDIT: Okay now after a NEW open beta update even that doesnt work. Whether the mic switch is 'ON' or 'ORIDE' I cannot communicate. Yes jet is fully started and both radios are on and set to the correct frecquency. I even see the 'T' pop up for transmit. EDIT: Okay found out by myself that the radios are set to Guard by default so you have to hit 'Grec C/M' to have them switch to the radios that arent on Guard. Now ATC responds to me for requesting startup but i cant get taxi clearance. The radio calls dont progress. Basically i can only request start-up over and over again. This is getting ridiculous
  3. Success! I have the game on Steam so I copied essential folders and did a 'Verify Game files' and it seems to have worked. It also looks like all the original config and mod folders were untouched as well. I was able to complete the mission without a crash with the same mods running
  4. I just tried an instant action with the legacy F18 and it didnt crash. I think its either the Superbug mod that i was using or TheBriefingRoom's missions getting generated. Ill do the repair as a last LAST resort but could it possibly be connected to one of these 3rd parties possibly?

  8. The narrator says to make sure the Weapon select switch is in the MRM mode but doesnt continue the tutorial when youre in the mode EDIT: Figured it out. You cant use a toggle or 'Loop' keybind for GUN-SRM-MRM. You have to bind the MRM part of the switch to a specific key and press it
  9. I assume this a lost cause but ill make this post incase its something that can be avoided in the future. I went to the control options for the Viper and navigated to the Keyboard and Joystick columns for my controls. Went to 'Save Profile As' for each one and made sure file explorer was in the right folder. Now each folder is just empty. No config files in them and the folders are also 'Read Only'
  10. Its on a per mission basis. Some missions it does this some it doesn't (Even in the same session without restarting the client). I almost thought it was the game not loading properly sometimes.
  11. Ive been having this issue more than usual. Ill use the radio to contact ATC for example and i wont get a response but itll progress to the next step (Request startup > Request taxiway > request takeoff). This "bug" also seems to affect AWACS where ill request a picture and will get nothing. I know its not an audio issue or something on my end because even the 'Message History' in the menu has nothing. Anyone else been dealing with this?
  12. Couple things maybe its the game. The utility seems to give the wrong altimeter setting and mispronounce ten thousand. I got used to it but i feel like the altimeter setting should be accurate?
  13. Anyone else notice an increase in unsuccessful strafing runs by AI recently? If my wingmen (Or just allied flights) run out of Air to ground ordinance theyll use the gun if there are still targets around. Only problem is they rarely pull up soon enough and end up hitting various ground objects like trees
  14. Question on this. Ive downloaded the previous version and this version and I cant seem to get the F35 flyable. What am i doing wrong?
  15. I've been spending a lot of time flying the Viper recently. One thing I noticed is that when you go into something like A2G mode you can choose pages on the MFD and they stay when you exit. Does the Hornet have anything like this? Right now im just changing the pages back to my "Navigation preference" after going into A2A or A2G mode
  16. I tried deleting and reverifying folders. Someone mentioned it may be related to loadouts added with a mod but the mission editor doesnt show me extra loadouts. Is there some sort of file where loadouts are stored so i can delete it manually?
  17. I noticed recently that the F14 has quite a few switches where right clicking moves the switch down instead of up like other modules or even other switches in the F14. One of these is the 'Nosestrut' switch for kneeling it towards the catapult. Just wanted to bring it up since i couldnt find it reported here
  18. Tried searching for this but didnt see anyone report it yet (As obvious as it is ingame). The deck seems to have multiple textures conflicting with each other.
  19. Ive also noticed that a lot of times the "Enemy" faction isnt hostile at the start of the mission. Is there something im missing there? Theyre "red" but they dont fire on me right away and jester in the F14 thinks theyre friendly? awesome thanks for the heads up
  20. I have this issue where the waypoints are far underground making target acquisition nearly impossible. Is there a fix to this?
