  1. Great we're talking about the same thing and have the exact same issue. I have this issue and use modifiers, I also have the same for the F1-F12 rebind, works once then not again when using modifier. So it is clearly somehow broken by using a modifier. Just like you I can't bind these anywhere else and it clearly should be fixed to work with modifier, and hopefully can be simply. Hopefully this gets reviewed and resolved but I tested it earlier and discussed with others with the same issue and it does seem likely down to the modifier.
  2. A quick question Nealius, if you are referring to what I post above, are you using a modifier for the comms menu scroll binds I mention?
  3. Much more difficult of a feature to implement, my hope is this is so simple they could do it fairly easily, and maybe improve in future. What you say could also be good, but I think the issue is every mission may need to set win/draw/loss conditions then, which many won't, especially for just simple cold start/free flight type missions. So a simple tick box that can be used as notplayed/played or don'twanttoplay/dowanttoplay is a nice simple feature.
  4. Do you mean the binds like "Command Menu Next Item", "Command Menu Previous Item" and "Command Menu Select Item"? That was introduced in October 2023? These are set-up under "Command Menu" in the controls option, you can also now rebind the F1-F12 options (which is fantastic), is this what you mean? If so I have the exact same issue, but I literally only can have it work once. Then it doesn't work until mission restart, or going into the control option and clicking ok resets it as well. Is this isn't what you mean I'll make a thread, but hopefully it is! I posted about it in October or so, really hope it will get resolved!
  5. I think they have added specific mission selection with campaigns now! But yeah a system where people have to make things into campaigns themselves for such a feature isn't ideal. This (hopefully) could be an easy solution to implement instead. Would be fine by me! In fairness I called it a tick box then put a cross into it instead of a tick..... works either way to me anyway!
  6. A very simple suggestion, I think a simple tick box next to each mission in the "Instant Action" and "Mission" pages would mean users can remember which missions they have played and can then work their way through all the missions under both "Instant Action" and "Mission" menus. Could also be included for Training Missions also. In contrast, this does exist for campaigns which show a status of "Win", "Inactive" or "Defeat". Then each mission in each campaign also has a status of "Failed", "Success", and "Draw". Clearly something as complex isn't needed for Instant Action, Missions & Training, but something very simple would likely be useful. The purpose being users do not need to memorize or separately track which missions they have and haven't tried, and it gives a good incentive to work through them all. They could then be unticked again if the user wishes to replay any mission. So it's really just a simple tick box which the game remembers the status of. At least for myself I think I would get me to work my way through them all for all my modules and something so simple would get me playing more. Hopefully not the most difficult thing to implement, but I know it would take some time and effort. Hopefully there is some interest in this and many thanks in advance! Some very low effort example images to show what I mean are attached.
  7. Coming back to this I ran a repair and tried on both MT and non-MT. Still get exactly the same, the cycling radio menu binds work once then not again.
  8. I'm having this issue as well, with the new menu navigation bind option, I have no issue with the menu working when using F1-F12/clicking, but the new navigation binds only work once then not again. I think we're having a different issue to OP.
  9. Congrats on the map launch, I'm enjoying the update! I know you are going to get a lot of these requests, but if you ever add more runways/airbases then Gatwick would be worth considering as an interesting edition. I don't believe it was significantly used but it had a distinctive terminal building and I believe may have been used a bit. As well as the local Redhill Aerodrome which was used somewhat. Thanks!
  10. With the fire at point command, particularly with AAA firing at a point in the air, it would be good to have an "Ignore Target" option box so that you can have the AAA continue to fire at the point even if they see a valid target in range. This could give mission makers a bit more flexibility to get AAA to do exactly what they want. Right now from some testing I can get Flak 18 to keep firing at the point but anything else will fire at a valid target when they see it. Apart from unarmed targets like Yak-52. Even with setting them as Weapons Hold/Weapon State Green they will fire at point till they see a target and then fire at that. Hopefully not too hard to implement and would improve this feature with a simple change. Many thanks in advance if it can be done!
  11. Yeah I know that was me! This guy wanted something a bit next level beyond that but I don't think it's worth it for ED, or even to just redo VA/VAICOM when it exists already.
  12. Ok sure that would be awesome, to me that is something that would be incredibly resource intensive and take a long time, I think a lot of people would be happy with something simple/a few simple options that would be hopefully not too resource intensive to develop but a massive return for players benefit wise.
  13. Personally would really like to see F1-F12 keys able to have a secondary bind so I could bind a modifier + the num keys on my BuddyFox UFC, I can't easily reach the keyboard when playing but the UFC is right there. I imagine a simple bind for menu option up, down & enter may work better for a lot of people so they don't have to touch the mouse but can simply navigate the menus. This is possible with VAICOM PRO/Voice Attack, so I imagine there would be less interest in it being core, also a lot more complex and less return on the work I'd imagine than the simple options proposed which I think lots of DCS users would use.
  14. Yeah my tracks mostly did the same but the one I posted hopefully works as I checked that.
