  1. Hi, I'm completely lost on how to trim a ww2 aircraft (p47 and p51 I guess it's the same principle for both).

I understand that I have three types of trimm, elevation ailerons and rudder. And mainly I have three gauges Bank Indicator , Turn& Slip Indicator and Vertical Speed Indicator (And everything is related to the speed and of course the lift of the plane). it is a lot of parameters simultaneously for a newbie.

I really can't get all three to remain relatively stable. Does anyone recommend any trick that works for you? or is there any order to facilitate the trimming?

I understand "The more you practice, the master you get" , but some order or tip or whatever are really welcome.

I don't want to keep flying like a roller coaster, up, then down, right and left. hehehehehehe

    Thank you very much

  2. I am starting to fly DCS.

I can't manage to fly straight and leveled in the plane unless I always keep touching the joystick controls and make corections.

But it is 100% imposible for me to fly straight and leveled.

There is no way to regulate the turn and pitch of the plane?

I guess it is with the ruder, elevation and aleron trim. But I can't get it to fly steadily. The plane keeps climbing, descending and turning all the time.

Is it not possible to fly straight? without always making corrections with the joystik?

or am I doing something wrong or am I missing something or what is the procedure?

    thank you very much

Have a look at Briefing Room. https://akaagar.itch.io/briefing-room-for-dcs?download It's a simple to use yet powerful mission generator for DCS. You fill in the options you want and it spits out a mission file, ready to fly. Supports all maps and aircraft. I love it.

I don't know this mod, it sounds very interesting

one question, so this mission generator? Does it have the capability to generate ww2 or modern aircraft missions?

  4. First of all I am very new to DCS, so I don't understand the exact functionality and function of the maps.

In this map I have seen some spectacular pictures, but my question is:

What do you usually do when you buy this map, I see that it is not used in online servers?

Do you just use it to fly or do your own missions?

It seems to me a bit expensive, not to give it any use. And it's a pity because it's very nice.

But I understand that you don't want to fragment the community by using all the maps on the servers.

Definitely not a good idea to interconnect boost and throttle.

Take off 2700rpm throttle wide open or if airfield is short and heavy load, use 15-20 flaps 2700rpm and throttle and boost wide open for take off, just back boost lever once you start passing 52".

Climb: after retracting gear and flaps Boost lever off, throttle to 42" engine rpm 2550. Once you hit max throttle altitude for 42" apply boost from turbo to maintain 42, You will have to back turbo lever with increasing alt because turbo will pump more and more MP with Alt until certain alt then you will need to start moving turbo lever forward to maintain 42".

    Hi what is MP?

  6. A question for a newbie. I want to start in the aircraft simulation, specifically in the second world war.

From the available modules I am visually like by the P-47, my question is: is it a good module to start with? what advantage and disadvantage has this aircraft with respect to the other available modules? for example p51

I'm trying to find a plane that will allow me to do a little bit of everything and not have a specific role.

Is it true that the p-47 is quite inferior to the p-51? I have read that it is very slow and for air combat it does not work. But I really don't know if it's true or speculation.

By the way, I am inclined to American planes. lol

    Thank you very much
