  1. All right folks, I followed the link that Alec Delorean posted, and installed the program Bitsum. After assigning DCS to high priority as shown in the "tutorial", my problem is solved. I can run DCS now without stuttering (30-40 FPS, enough for me...) in 4k with sliders Medium/High and medium dense populated missions :D:D:smartass: I'm verry happy now :pilotfly:
  2. Even when I put every slider on lowest and choose 1280x720, no AA,...I barely get 15fps on auto generated missions with medium populated AI... My pc is a clean Windows and drivers install with only DCS and P3d installed on SSD. According task manager, I have still a lot reserves on memory, CPU and GPU when playing DCS...but nevertheless, the game is a slideshow. I'm hopeless. :joystick::helpsmilie:
  3. Thanks, I disabled hyperthreading, this didn't make any difference... Graphics card and clock speed should be checked in BIOS or where do I have to do this?
  4. Hello, I recently installed DCS. At first I thought my PC was able to run the game quite well. This is my setup: I could run the game in free flight very will with a lot of sliders en screen resolution maxed out. (about 40pfs) But when I wanted to start a campaign or mission where there were a lot more of AI elements, the game became unplayable for me: framerates about 10 fps...:( , even when I put every single slider to the lowest position and lowest screen resolution. When I check my system useage ingame, it appears to me that it ain't a question of hardware shortcomming: I still have reserves, although my fps in this picture was about 10: I tried everything; I deleted the shader folders, reinstalled both DCS World and DCS Open Beta, reinstalled video drivers, I even reinstalled Windows... No difference... I really don't understand this, It looks to me this must be really some sort of bug as my medium setup must definitely be able to play DCS well on lowest settings... Anyone has a clue?
