Yes this is mine but reserved for the team ( BJT ) a keep in secret since a long time. They now planed to do a public demonstration in few weeks ( before end september in france for a simulation Show) and that why they released screens shots :)

The models should be export in lom format with BMP textiure apply in Max. And Bmp file must be in TempTexture folder in LockOn.

At least 300.000 poly ..... The probleme is not to do a 3D model, the problem is to do a game compatible model. And this is a hudge difference. These models are nice for screenshot, that's all. -
A Huuuuuuuuuuuuugde amount of poly is needed for the net. If i guess well, the amount of polygone of the net should be .....8 This object have not a significant impact on FPS :huh::huh:

Well... The problem about this model, is that, even it's a lovely model, he dont met the ED requierements. At least more than 70,000 faces..... Some a HUDGE simplifaication of this model need to be done. There is no animations, so everything must be done. Materials are not standards, and no mapping on the model, so everything must be done. It will be certainelly faster to simplifly than to do an other one from scratch, but it will be long. By the way, it's very kind to find some models, but it would be super, if the models you find met the requierements. My two cents ...... -
In my opinion, these tools let us making the best possible 3d model with the most possible acurate animations for it and sned all the models to ED team. If the model met the ED's requierments in terms of quality, documentations, we "may" see a new aircraft in the game coming with a patch. And this is the best solution to keep the game the same for everybody who play it online. Oleg Madog done this before with succes in IL2 serie, without any recrimination for all gamers. SO what are the interest of these tools, you may ask ? For modelers and i am, it's a big step. Instead of working hours and hours, sending models to ED and waiting for scrrens or news, i can do all my tests "in game " by myself, i SEE my work directely and i dont feel waisting my time. I can adjust animations, skins, everythings, precisely and give ED a fully fonctionnal product. And this is a HUDGE gift for me :) But people are people and you will always find one to cry because he dont have any X-wing or Spitfire in game. And even they have X-wing, they will complain about FM's ....

Making a better basket means doing a complete aircraft ..... Long work, very long, for a plane allready in game and working well. -
Doing something for 90% is like doing nothing..... I'm happy taht you can enjoy my tank now. Cheers

Yes ........ I 'm stupid ...........Sorry :( The interesting thing in this problem is that for some people, texture, even not in right format works, for some others it dont works. Sorry for disturbing you with a so stupid problem.... But many many thank's to solve it !!! -

nono that's the problem. I use totaly basic material. Excatly the same than for Mirage's I've tried many solution but nothing work's even with Max7.0 ( just tested)
