  1. Amazingly though, the Razbam rep says that they did not include the API in their code and thus doesn’t know, why it worked in 2.8 and does not in 2.9. And in 2.8, the Harrier undoubtedly has a basic Leap Motion functionality. I’m not sure how I should make any sense of that.
  2. I’ve had a brief exchange with Alpha-Juliet at the Razbam Discord and he told me that they hadn’t done anything to make Leap Motion work in 2.8 or not work in 2.9????? And I thought, the developers were in charge to implement that functionality.
  3. Unfortunately, the limited functionality for the Harrier that we had in 2.8 has apparently disappeared. I can’t interact with the buttons anymore.
  4. Confirmed. As you noted, it is the button under the crosshair that gets activated. This is a very pleasant development detail indeed. Considering the fact that the different z-depths for a particular panel are already accurately modelled, I can only hope the full integration without the need for the laser pointer function is happening in no far future.
  5. Right. Whatever the issue has been, it has apparently resolved itself. I can log-in again without having done any changes including changing my password. Interestingly, I couldn't send a mail to the support mail adress, since the mail-delivery was refused either by my own mail-server provider or the receiver. I can't tell for sure.
  6. If I may ask, how did you change it? Unfortunately I'm not receiving any mails from digitalcombatsimulator.com to my mail-adress.
  7. Good to hear, I'm not the only one. Surprising to me is the reason -Password expired-. I didn't know, it even could expire.
  8. Since today I can‘t log in to my above mentioned account as well as to any of my DCS.exe instances. The explaining message tells me that my password has expired and I would need to set a new one. Trying to do that through the site function -reset password- doesn‘t yield any result since I don‘t receive the mail-link required to do the reset. Has my account probably been hacked? Best regards JaBoG32_Herby
  9. Oh, that’s good news. I didn’t know that. Thanks.
  10. Perhaps someone here knows the answer to my question. Is there a known way to use Leap Motion within DCS without SteamVR?
  11. Did you have the TPOD video open? If so, the seeker video will not show. You can only display one video at a time. It’s a system limitation. But, while in TPOD mode, you can SSS fwd long to show the seeker instead of the TPOD feed for 14 sec.
  12. Try >0.8 sec press. I believe I recall that to have gotten changed a few updates ago.
  13. You can find stuff to decorate the flight deck in the Mission editor statics section. They are in personelle and in structures subcategories, if I’m not mistaken.
  14. Based on the available performance data for a 408 Series engine, the aircraft, at ISA temp and pressure altitude sea level with 16500 lbs gross weight and zero wind, should require between 104 and 106 % RPM wet and that’s exactly what is required to lift off and hover the ingame Harrier. So it does appear neither over- nor under-powered. It rather is spot on.
  15. Outstanding. Many thanks for your effort.
  16. I think the Auto-Scaling is the issue here. I have the same misplaced Navigation Points, either waypoints or Tacan, too and I’ve narrowed it down to said Auto-Scalling. Try and change the range manually and the placement on the EHSD-Map should be fine.
  17. @Holbeach You’re looking for this manual? https://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=171464&d=1509565602
  18. I understand. What document are you refering to with your description of inserting a waypoint between existing WPs? I've only read about this method in ChuckOwls quick reference guide so far, if I'm not mistaken. The NATOPS does'n seem to mention this.
  19. 1.) My experience seems contrary to yours, since I could just insert waypoint numbers greater than 10. And the way I do it is by simply inserting the next following number in the numeration sequence. E.g. 11 after 10, 12 after 11 and so on. I didn’t try this all the way to 60 however, so I can only assume it works for 60 waypoints. 2.) I can’t find any reference in the appropriate manuals indicating the option to insert a new waypoint between already existing ones. Like Lindamus noted, very likely there is no such function.
  20. I can not confirm. The system stores 10+ waypoints, I defined 13, and stores 10 markpoints on a multiplayer server with an aircraft cold started.
  21. Thank you, Dangerman, for your remark. I was more referring to some participants to this discussion in particular but in general to the whole Razbam AV-8B forum. I find it appreciable to see someone making use of the available means resourcefully rather than complaining about the details that may or may not be simulated accurately while declining to just have fun with the product as is.:) But I’m actually abusing this posting with OT stuff. Apologies.
  22. Thanks a lot for sharing these very informative videos. That's a really interesting technique. I especially appreciate the fact that you just make use of what we have in the Harrier regardless of being or not being implemented to perfection or some individuals liking.
  23. Compared to 40000 it is.:) Don’t forget the increasing difference between Indicated Airspeed and True Airspeed with increasing altitude. A rule of thumb is that, with every 1000ft of altitude the difference increases by 2%. That means, at 10000ft 100KIAS would equate to 120KTAS. So, the lower you fly, the higher your indicated airspeed would be, but that wouldn’t make you fly faster actually. For the additional drag created by external loads I recommend to have a look at the A1-AV8BB-NFM-400 performance manual.
  24. Given your drag index, which should be (if I didn’t screw up calculating) somewhere between 35 and 40 with that loadout, and looking at the low altitude cruise charts, I don’t find your numbers surprisingly low. You’re doing 520 KTAS or Mach .83 in your example. But I might be wrong, of course.
