  1. I’m hoping for the HH-60G Pave Hawks of the 66th Rescue Squadron from Nellis AFB with the Nevada scenery.
  2. I doubt it has anything to do with criticism… rather it makes more sense for Matt to do a monthly update from a practical point of view. Industry models have to prioritize and are always correcting. Any smart business person, especially in the software business does not waste much time with self-indulgent criticism, particularly if they don't have anything substantive to say. They’re too busy listening to the intelligent people.
  3. I read no mention of trepidations with DCS, but rather his unsuccessful experience relating to FSX. They are both distinct platforms.
  4. Shouldn’t you be taking this matter up on the FSX boards…? I don’t want to read the problems you are having with FSX, rather the ongoing progression of the DCS version Harrier.
  5. He was actually a neighbor, lived about a ½ mile away in Studio City CA… moved to AZ. Had lunch at Warner Bros a few years back before he moved… really great guy!
  6. I will be making that mistake again and again; actually I shouldn’t call it a mistake, rather a great opportunity. ;)
  7. That response sounds biased to me... based upon your own sense of right and wrong.
  8. USAF Learjet C-21... Can be used for military and civilian.
  9. He did mean flyable… what’s so pointless about this poll?
  10. Work on a TV show... -Rick
  11. Look at the official updates, lots of info there on DCS modules and forthcoming releases. I know waiting can be painful, however Wags and crew are very good with providing intelligence to the official updates forum.
  12. I do not think all military vehicles are designed through 100% public money... plus I would think that most copyrights usually stay with the companies responsible for the initial design. Derivative works are technically illegal without the copyright owner's permission, but definitely a grey area. In the entertainment world we use products all the time on TV; we stay away from most Trademarks by covering logos, but for most companies as long as you are using their product appropriately, it’s free advertising for them and great PR. Technically they should be paying the accurate 3d modelers for making such great products for people to use.. Pursuing small companies trying to make a profit and not violating trademark policies by not showing company logos is silly. They use to do this with plastic models back in the day. The flip side to this is that copyright laws do keep many of us employed. Crazy world
  13. For instance, when Nevada is released, it would be great to have the HH-60G Pave Hawk AI model which is assigned to Nellis. There are also 737’s that fly in and out of Area 51. Plus you have McCarran International (LAS) A nice bundle of (Military/Civilian/passenger) aircraft would be great as well… sell them as a bundle. -Rick
  14. I would definitely support any effort to add or bring beautiful AI models into the DCS world. There are tons of AI aircraft that would be great to have… military and civilian, and lots of talented artist… the bigger the better, plus it encourages talent in this genre. Like it or not, if you want to continue to play in this genre, you have to embrace it, including the costs. -Rick
  15. An extremely compelling and cinematic sensation… great job GA! -Rick
  16. George Lucas has been developing this for some time. Nice to see the Lucas realization executed... trailer looks great! Really looking forward to this. -Rick
  17. 24 second mark... the infamous Hornet growl during startup. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axQe5GFXh_8
