That is an interesting video… the fact that SweViver is testing the XTAL at their facility and they have DCS and other flight sims is amazing! They have the DCS F-14 video on their website! Hopefully they can bring this headset down in price for the consumer. The technology that XTAL is using today should be mainstream tomorrow anyway… time will tell. Just realized their Los Angeles office is 15 minutes away from me.

I’m waiting until the NDA is lifted and Matt gives his full unbiased review of the Oculus S. There is no other person I trust more to enhance the DCS experience!

Most are overthinking this… DCS is only going to get better and better, hardware is going to get better and better… no reason not to have a civilian aircraft if someone wants to develop it. I will definitely purchase!

On the positive, sooner or later this will be the norm and affordable.

There isn't really anything on the horizon anytime soon and it is a huge upgrade from the 1060 card! Congrats on the card and enjoy!!

Regarding the S... I’m excitedly waiting to hear Matt's review once the NDA is lifted… I have a good feeling he is working with Oculus to dramatically improve the experience with DCS… visuals and performance.

Hopefully In the next few years most hardware issues holding back VR will be resolved. I expect these forum conversations to be entirely different starting in the next few months.

I would love to see the Osprey in DCS as an AI aircraft! They fly over my house a few times a week... they are amazing!
