  1. OK STRUT I am among the challenged can you assist me in understanding the separate joystick throttle files and more importantly why they both have multiple keys not in the other that do not corespond to the original key/button?? Thsnx much, WheelChair PS. Anyone is welcomed to assist me in this respect as well! W__
  2. lol I will remember this!! Thanx again, W__
  3. Well it didn't work to delete the folder in the easy category and should have BUT it did work on the real setting and that's the one I need anyway. The young one will just need to learn the right way right out of the blocks and go how to fly with the real settings. thanx cichildfan headache gone and yours should be too now that this ordeal is over. WheelChair
  4. SORRY No go on this one I have done it several times any others want to give it a go? Thanx again cichildfan! W__
  5. Thanx much but the fix for the throttle working like one is not doing the trick so to speak I must have to go into the controller config to clear something out as it will not do so in the SIM's Controller UI. If anyone knows there way around that area all assistance is requested in the fix? Thanx again, W__
  6. will go with LawnDarts idea now to see if this works. Perhaps if you should see this again you could explain the use of the "Axis Assign" feature as well. Thanx, W__
  7. Well you have gotten the first part yes the throttles were linked as one unit but the left puts out the RZ and the right the Z. NOW for the other issue I still cannot get the throttle to act like one even though it is set to be the only throttle (right side) the Slider is still the throttle inside the SIM flying. It is normally the Zoom Feature Axis but I have done it with and without it set at all and not change any ideas on this part too cichlifan or anyone else? Thanx again, W__
  8. You might have something there I am not separating them they are hooked together as one but if it is what is causing it i will know in a few minutes I will go and test this. Thanx, W__
  9. Solved to my satisfaction still an issue with the P51D EASY Controls not setting the throttle to the throttle but it works now in the REAL so I'm a happy camper! Hello Nice Persons! I'm having a time of it to setting my throttle is supposed to be "Z" axis right well mine reads this but it really acts just like "RZ" rudder axis and when I looked close the far end of the throw is reading RZ just before the Z that it should be and reads on the controls list. My TM HOTAS Warthog is flawless in every other game and SIM I have tried it in including BS2 and A10C without a hitch. I have gone thru each of them with the Warthog since this problem occurred. It is right out of the box doing this (not the HOTAS Box the SIM Box). I have re-installed the SIM two times to no avail thinking my config was corrupt the second time was a fresh download as well and from the other format than the first two installs. I cannot get the throttle to be the throttle and the slider is my zoom that is acting as the throttle. I have tried deleteing and getting rid of the whole category to no avail as well. Any assistance, thoughts or hmm's are welcomed! Thanx much, WheelChair
  10. ok thanx to you both. I didn't think it was in this SIM as it is several steps above the LockOn. I wanted to make sure whilst building the missions that I didn't miss something. And, I wouldn't be caught dead in game mode! Thanx again, Wheels
  11. I am wondering since I do not see one if this SIM doesn't want to use the target diamond that was in all the lockons? If it is there and if you would be so kind as to point it out to us. Thanx much, W__
  12. Many Thanx for bring this all together... I see this mention of the training videos that come with the game and the terms/jargon used and the extra non-essential information clutters them up. I found as a new Pilot that the You Tube videos and guides have educated me far beyond what the training vids in game have done and once I obtained that data I then went to the training vids in game and still don't know what they are talking about 1/5 the time but it is getting beter. I just want to say thanx to the many in the community that have contributed to my education by far it is not complete but I find one more good piece of data everytime I look for something else. Keep it coming and the new Pilots stand a great chance of sticking it out! Thanx again, Wheels PS. WarriorX said it early on and it was the turning point for me understanding weapon employment the SPI setting the Sensor Point of Interest is vital; things will fall into place once this is accomplished and will become 2nd hand. Also learn early on there is a difference between the SOI Sensor Of Interest and the SPI (mentioned above). W__
  13. Save yourself the work and get a TrackIR 4 or 5 with a Pro Clip (if you can afford it if not make it a goal) you'll never go back! W__
  14. Im' at default as well! One note though if you run into a problem whereas the SIM won't see your pedals separate from your left throttle (as both use RZ axis) just finish your input of axis and then hit the axis assign button (next to axis tune) and it will fix that should it be an issue with you as with me. Wheels
  15. RGR Thanx so it is okay to turn the stuff on just watch for the DTS. W__
