I created a simple example. The B17 activates after set seconds, run the route and bomb the target, then land, speed under 5knt it deactivates, then respawns and run again, but this time it does not perform the bombing task set in advanced waypoint. Same happens if I use the DESTROY lua code, but in this I have used GROUP DEACTIVATE in trigger. If you can find time to look at it and tell me what am I doing wrong? Please. Thank you in advance. script-test.miz

Hi ho. I am fairly new to scripting snippets and script files in ME, so I have a question regarding grouprespawn. I am setting a group to take off, do a route, at 'landing' I use the 'destroy' snippet in advanced waypoint run script. Now, this works fine, the group reaches the last waypoint and deactivate. I then use triggers (condition)if group dead, (action) if not group.... respawn snippet. Works fine, the group respawn and run the route, but now, at the last waypoint, they do not deactivate anymore. Does the respawn script snippet not keep the advanced waypoint tasking 'run script'? Was that understandable?

Why is ACLS not working in some scenarios?
Cato Larsen replied to Cato Larsen's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Thanks for confirming. I fail to see what I do different between my sessions though. But it must be pilot error. I find no evidence to the contrary. Btw, this was with Super Carrier module. Anyway. Thanks for replies the both of you. Me neighter, but practice in good weather for a rainy day later is always good. Flying ICLS is very doable without letting the system take full control, but I feel I need to get every aspect of flying this one just right. -

And you can get ACLS to go fully automatic in clear weather, mid day as well as low wis or night? -

Yes, all this is as should be. Radio protocol followed. I got an idea and tried it in evening. Got called for Case I recovery. Acls did not work, flew around and did all checks again, it now turned dark enough so I got called for CASE III recovery, and what do you know, ACLS activated this time. Is it so the system does NOT take control unless in a state of CASE III recovery? -

I guess no one knows then. Cheers anyway. -

Hmm. I realised that this could really be in "Bugs and problems" Sorry for that. Admin can move it if more that is convenient. -
Hi. I, or my group has been flying the F14B for a little while now. Through couple game updates. ACLS is working fine in some missions, either setup in ME that I do or some of the official missions. Both SC and Stennis. But some times it just dont work. Procedure is followed to the point in all cases, and indicators are lighting up for acls activation. What is causing this? Is it mission related? Carrier setup or something else? I can land the plane manually on this setup of course, but it gets a bit hairy in case III situations, specially in fog and dark.

Ok then, WHICH aircraft should I Concentrate on?
Cato Larsen replied to Cowboy10uk's topic in DCS 2.9
Hmmm. I am also much the same. Own a lot, but just lately getting enough fly time. The most enjoyable for me at the moment is by far the F14 Tomcat. Bought it firstly out of nostalgic reasons (my first model plane)but I really enjoy flying it too. F16 is also another favourite. Though it still is a little behind the Hornet in development. As a Norwegian I have of course seen the F16 the most and it is a great bird. SU 25T is more used than I thought it would be. As the free non clickable cockpit plane it really pack a good punch and flies good. Gets the job done. A-10 II.... Love the plane, love flying it, not so much taking it to battle. F5, Huey, BS 2 and FC3.... argh... If I choose 1.... F14. Every day. Phoenix, Sparrow, sweeping wings, carrier ops.. need I say more -
If this has been posted I am very sorry. I have read much here but not all, and I might have missed something. The cockpits are not alligned in any of the aircrafts. To low if you know what I mean. I am more of a "just fly guy" so I am not used to fiddle with settings in this game. Not in scripts anyway. Now, it is nice to have all these aircrafts to fly about with, but not enjoyable from external view and not with the landing gear in my face from internal view. What am I doing wrong. HEEEELP! :)

I must have missed something. So they are recorded automaticly? Or do you get an option to save them? I have not found a button for that. Or really, I have not looked for it :)

My best bet would be FRAPS, but I have not checked for in-game recording of online sessions ~S~ back at ya

Do general people remember to use their Wingman in action? (AI) I am fairly new though so I keep forgetting, but he is somewhat of a "mouse" for the fire and helps you getting in for a pincer move and fire....When I remember to use him that is..

Where can I DL Flaming Cliffs??
Cato Larsen replied to DetroitDieseL's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
He said while standing down at the docks carrying a big sign saying "get it here" Sorry, I could not avoid that one. Anyway..... Yes.... Install Lock on, install FC2 and if you want you can delete Lock on after that as FC2 only needs it for install purposes. But could be good for you to try the original Lock on and feel the difference. Good luck :)
