  1. Hey, thanks for the report. For future reports in cases like this devs need the trackfile, so would be better including that with the report. I've replicated this and forwarded.
  2. You cannot do that in F-15C without shooting a missile to current primary target. When you shoot, it will switch to next target automaticaly, but you cant do it manually.
  3. Should be possible, but afaik only if you dont have the software of the hotas. I've been using my X-55's mode switch as modifier for past few years. But DCS wasn't registering that as a keybind when I had the X-55 software installed.
  4. Hey mate, the control exists originally. My topic was more about the logic of it, F-16C has absolute axis control, and F/A-18C has relative (better suited for spring loaded rotaries that return to center) Could be nice to have it as an alternative option but I don't need it anymore.
  5. AIM-120 has a battery life of 100 seconds and in your tacview that battery goes out when the AIM-120s are roughly 12nm to target. (Not even went active, that happens around 9nm) Rough estimate your amraams still needed 15s or so of battery to hit their target. You need to keep this in mind when launching long range shots because battery life is the limiting factor more than kinetic performance. You can hit shots from that range but you need to be higher so missile would have a faster average velocity
  6. By the looks of it yes. Its actually better vs. the old modelling. To better see how it works you can put up AZ/EL page and place some targets in mission editor at different altitudes and azimuth.
  7. TWS Auto is changed yes. Now it will center on centroid of trackfiles to try to cover as many as possible with prioritizing the L&S.
  8. This is known and reported, in the meantime you can disable the pilot model fully (not just the head)
  9. I cant replicate it. I tried on my server, no crash. Watched your track, no crash on that either. Can you try with removing all user mods and running a slow repair? And send another log if it crashes after that too
  10. Hey are you guys using the old dedicated server? If yes can you please try with modular dedicated server? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/server_beta/
  11. You should set the throttles to fly and leave them like that. You are getting the RPM high warning likely because you are rapidly increasing the collective. When you do it, engine will run at higher RPM to compensate the higher drag coming from rotor. So you basically get a temporary high RPM.
  12. Yeah Im doing it that way, never had any problem. I dont have the best tech knowledge and it may not be the optional setup, but I have it as like that and been running for a year without any problems so far.
  13. SATA should be fine. I played ~1 year on a SATA SSD and was just fine. Surely M.2 would be better but anything is better than HDD You are likely playing single threaded client. If you downloaded DCS from website (called standalone), go into install folder/bin-mt and start DCS from that executable. This way you'll play multi-threaded client. And yes you'll have problems if you choke your SSD. You actually should have some more empty space on that, about 25gb min. should be empty. And also yes pagefile is using drives as aid for RAM in a nutshell. But unfortunately you cannot set pagefile on your case because you dont have the space for it. You should look for either a new mobo or a new-bigger capacity M.2. Honestly I'd upgrade mobo, then would get another M.2 drive. Hopefully that suits you at least in near future
  14. Hey, first of all welcome onboard - Using MSAA and SSAA at same time is not a good idea. If you are playing the multi-threaded client, SSAA does not have any effect, but in any case, it should be disabled because its very inefficient and outdated. - Tune down your preload radius to max. ~30k - Set at least 32gb pagefile on a SSD. Your problem is likely either disk or ram, or both. Make sure DCS is installed on a SATA or M.2 SSD drive. HDD will give you overall horrible experience compared to SSD. Since you have 16gb ram, I would go for more pagefile. But if you want a smooth experience long-term especially for multiplayer, you should upgrade RAM to 32gb. Also, if you send a log file it would help us go deeper just in case. How to send log : Go to C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS\logs, then grab the latest text file, named either just "dcs" or "dcs.log" How to set pageilfe :
  15. Because you are using wrong control. Its TDC Switch PRESS to lock/designate something
