1. as everyone keeps saying, AAR refueling is really not that hard, even I was able to pick it up, just by doing what people keep reiterating in this thread....keep practising and learn to work the throttle...there is no magic there, other than just doing it.
2. deactivating ACM with NWS button did not work for me, yesterday. This forced me to use osb buttons to leave acm mode, which quickly turned painful. Will try this again later, tonight.
3. +1 , great communications and constant heads-up updates..... Thank you @eagly dynamics and @wags
4. guys, he did not ask what acm mode is, his question was, whether it is intended behaviour, that acm gets activcated on weapon selection. It is a good question, as i also think it feels wierd, that acm is activated on selection. I want to press tms fwd if i want it, not have to deselect it every time after selecting a weapon..
5. Hello dear fellow DCS fans, i am currently in the process of slowly upgrading my equipment, and have just ordered thrustmaster cougar mfd's and a 11,6 inch screen that should be just enough do attach the mfd's with velcro to it and have enough space. I have a pretty good idea how i will have to set the display up, so that i can export mfd's to the screen in the right position- but what I have found no information about, is whether it is possible to easily swap the mfd's contents. As I have 2 mfd's + the respective screen real estate, but 3 mfd's in the hornet, I thought that it would be a nice feature to be able to have the left mfd behave like this: default mode : screen-> shows the left mfd of the hornet osb buttons of the thrustmaster cougar mfd -> bound to the osb buttons around left hornet mfd switched mode: screen-> shows the bottom mfd of the hornet osb buttons of the thrustmaster cougar mfd -> bound to the osb buttons around lower hornet mfd(with a shift button) The button issue will be no porblem, I think I know how to do this in the target software, so that I can select which mfd's osb buttons the thrustmaster cougar mfd has control over- but can an exported mfd be swapped through another mfd in the same viewport? Is this possible? Of course I will have to tinker with that by myself, when the stuff arrives....but I wanted to ask even before whether someone already did something like that? Regards, Tranqu
6. i updated from 1.5 to 2.5 a few days ago, and upgraded my pc at the same time, and had comfortable 50-60fps all the time, and the game looked great. then i read somewhere, that legacy settings and so on can cause problems, so i deleted anything mod-related, and renamed my dcs folder in "saved games"- and started the dcs_updater.exe with the repair parameter- did all the settings and key bindings again, and now have comfortable 80-90 fps all the time, and, be that placebo or not, the game seems to look even nicer. can highly recommend to do a reinstall.

9. Just read that one AMA with the real life a10c pilot, who said the hars is almost the only thing you don't really have to touch in real life :) Gesendet von meinem SM-G935F mit Tapatalk
10. I think the problem is underlying that the Walkman is played a airplane sound, and not as cockpit sound. You can find out easily if you open and close the canopy while playing a song. It has less to do with hear like in helmet and more to do with that I think. Gesendet von meinem SM-G935F mit Tapatalk
11. Mustang, just a small Question: what does your modification of the FireVehicle do? I am thinking of using the https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=119163&highlight=fire&page=7 mod, but it uses the same File and I don't really wish to mess things up. Do I break anything if I use that fire mod, or would you personally advise me not to? I feel like you have a good Judgement of these things :)
12. Really nice textures, they create a great mood:) Thank you for your work! Gesendet von meinem SM-G935F mit Tapatalk
13. So are there any news about this important topic? Wanted to host a game for a friend, but sadly we are both behind dualstack lite tunnels, which make it impossible to connect. Our isp make it a real pain in the ass to get actual dual stack(get business customer contract for 100 euros more a month). Is there some way to play with our working and nice ipv6 addresses? Pretty please? EDIT: Managed to get Hamachi to finally work after a good hour of fiddling. When it is correctly configured you can setup a server and have others join, even if you sit behind a NAT tunnel.
14. Even better would be if a short tap changes the pressure slowly, while keeping holding it accelerates the change. This would simulate turning the knob slowly for fine tuning, and then holding it to turn it faster to get higher intervals done Gesendet von meinem SM-G935F mit Tapatalk
