  3. I saw this post and it was a lifesaver. I had the same play in my warthog joystick, I then saw this post. I went to Harbor freight picked up some hose clamps for six dollars. Put one on the play is gone! I wanted to thank you, even though I’m seeing this two years later for posting this, it made a difference
  4. @MAXsenna Yes they are bound correctly. Adding a screenshot for reference. This is not the issue. If it was during hot starts I would not have been able to shut both engines down with only one detent mapped.null
  5. Hello DCS Community and Razbam team, I've encountered an issue with the F-15E from Razbam after the most recent update and I'm hoping for some assistance. The problem seems to be specific to the left engine during cold starts. Here's what's happening: After successfully initiating the right engine, I start the left engine. However, as soon as I try to move the Left Throttle Axis beyond the idle detent, the throttle in-game refuses to correspond accordingly, even though my physical Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle has moved past the idle detent. This strange behavior doesn't occur prior to engine start - both throttle axes move correctly as can be observed in the attached track file. I've tried this both in local missions and on multiplayer servers, with the same issue persisting. To rule out hardware problems, I've recalibrated my Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle and closely monitored the axis behavior, but the issue seems to be exclusive to the aircraft's left engine startup procedure. The main problem here is that I can't move the left throttle to idle or above the detent to match the right engine throttle. It auto-shifts past the detent to the off position, preventing me from starting the engine. Even when I manage to start the engine by keeping the throttle position higher, as soon as I attempt to sync it with the right engine throttle, it moves to the off position and shuts down the left engine. It's worth noting that this issue is nonexistent when performing a hot start. Any advice or possible solutions would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help. Best, CypherBlue ColdStartleftThrottleIssue.trk

  8. Hello I have really been dialing in my settings this weekend. I get great frame time all around but I will get these red and yellow frame times randomly, I have set my preload radius to half (~70k) PD is 1.4, Steam VR is at 100% Global and App. I am attaching a screenshot of what it looks like and you see it turn green when I alt tab out and come back in. It happens randomly and usually I can alt tab out and it is cleared. I am running a 3080FE, Reverb G1, i9-12900k, 48GB of RAM at 3200mhz, Samsung 980 PRO 1TB with PCIE4.0 at 7k Read/5K Write speeds I have disabled full screen optimizations on the launcher for DCS. I am using the openVR mod to enable NIS. Re-BAR is enabled for the sim. This occurs on MP and SP sessions. This issue is frustrating and I can't seem to find what is causing it. @BIGNEWY, @NineLinehave you all encountered these issues? Is there more information I can provide to isolate the issue?
  9. I was able to figure it out, there is no documentation on the matter but. Within the DED for COM 1 you can Dobber right on the ICP SEQ and at the top of the DED it changes from UHF MAIN to UHF Both. This allows users to hear both the selected UHF Freq and Gaurd 243.00. You can talk on guard by switching the left com 1 knob on the left Audio panel to GRD from SQL.
  10. Can the viper in its current state monitor Guard Freq 243.00 while also listening to another UHF freq like the Hornet Can? If not will this be implemented in the future? Or can we only move our Com 1 Audio selector switch to the GRD freq?
  11. Has this worked for you? I have tried this with no effect.

  13. I found this by KatBreath Since a lot of new people to VR might not know this, there exists some useful functions in DCS to make getting your seat/eyepoint position properly configured when using a VR HMD. It's simple and here are the key commands: RCTRL + RSHFT + KP4,2,6,8 = Moves your eyepoint L,D,R,U respectively RCTRL + RSHFT + KP*, KPMinus = Moves your eyepoint fore and aft RALT + KP0 = Saves your current eyepoint position KP5 Recenters your view (Bind to a joystick or button box button with Joy2Key or other remapper to make centering simple) There may be those who do not know you can activate your frame rate counter as well. I find activating the frame rate counter really helps me in fine turning my graphical settings in order to keep frames high: RCTRL + Pause/Break = Activates your frame counter; doing it again gives more detailed information And if you want to "trap" your mouse pointer to keep from deactivating DCS as the primary application running on your Windows desktop, the following key combination is what you want: ALT+ENTER = Maximizes the DCS mirror on your desktop to keep the mouse from clicking outside of it Force VR on and OFF - thank you Alex O'Keefe: dcs.exe --force_enable_VR dcs.exe --force_disable_VR You'd use those commands in two separate DCS shortcuts on your desktop. Turn on and off the tooltip flyouts when hovering your mouse cursor over a cockpit control element (TYVM Skatezilla): Options => Gameplay Tab => Tool Tips => Uncheck Happy VR Flying!
  14. https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-image-scaling-goes-open-source-nis-now-available-to-all-games I wonder if this will work in VR better than FSR. Will try it when I get home

  18. This is how it is in the real aircraft, if you have a complaint you can send it to Lockheed Martin, I am sure they would love to hear your feedback on their systems.
  19. You have to manually program in the SA-5 in the DED using the HARM Table Codes. Here is how to do it from Chuck's Guide:
  20. From what I have gathered from people whose work on these aircraft IRL. If the aircraft is equipped with any INS A2G weapons the Bulls info is not displayed on the Hud for de cluttering in any master mode. And it is accurate as it is now.
