i wish i did not But i got bad feeling about release date . my better half just laughs and says july/august u will c. I wish they would let us know one way or the other ,we will still get/buy it, And like the fellow previous said it is geting gut wrenching now loging on to the download site only ta c the release date gone........... my stomach drops so low with every logon .HELP SOMEBODY MAKE A STATEMENT..

Is it possible that the addon is finished but there are some legal issues to do with repercussions from ubi to make sure there is none or with the rights from ubi /or simply cash flow probs.

i would definetley say yes to playing in 2 years and more. but security will be just like it is now some one will always find a way around things

SO WHAT U ARE SAYIING is that if a person used some other cracked software not a game but possi music then starforce will relay that back and if you got one of the old cracked games\or photoshop or a dvd then you will be listed as a possible user of cracked software. Well then dont do the crime if you carnt pay the fine. dont want to cause trouble but we want the addon released... . I understand the concern about additional activations, but it sounds to me that it won't cost anything should you have to contact Starforce to get another five activations. starforce If after the five time register and ive upgraded my computer and then need to register it again if aslong as i got say printed proof or personel proof and then can go online and registrer again proveing i payed then ive no probs buying. But deepdown i suspect most everyone who uses flight sims fully intend to upgrade in the future first to go for people with highend systems will be a mobo ghange to acomodate cpu advances and id say that is 40% . I have an xp3500 on a asus a8v deluxe got it 2 month ago with the x800 pro now my ram is only ddr400. so come jan 2006 i will want what is out then. as my ram is slowing me down which is twinx paired 1 gig. i know it is ok for what is out there to play but i like to keep up with the new stuff. so if i say keep the purchase print out and key on a floppy and then after 5 times need to use that then that is ok but if it is a fullstop and you have to buy then that aint protecting its forceing us to pay again yes

upgrades So far in last 2 years i have iupgraded my pc 5 to 6 time adding diffrent things from a single ide drive to 2 ide then to sata and on to sata raid with 4 drives. I have changed power supplys to match mobo upgrades and cpu upgrades and ram 3 times and graphics card at least 4. and as better stuff comes out i fully intend to upgrade again. i sell my old stuff and i have plenty off people willing to buy it from me (a bit like good cast offs. But if 3 times is limit i then predict that me personelly will get about 8 months to 1 year of play out of the addon then they wont recognise my 40% :cry: a cd will solve it so lets buy the downlaod and a cd to be sent when they are ready . Ed could ask for names an address== when we pay for a cd to follow..

if this is case i aint bying 1.1 if the 3 times limit is on then the download is crap for me . i have re formated my machine 2 times since christmas already. so i guess i wont be buying it . if it leads to triojans and viruses then my norton will of not been money well spent at all s. .this as really P******d ,,f****k me off (ALL THIS WAITING) and now this why dont he use normall protection like STEAM JEES it is only an addon. if we have to keep the cd in to play well that means you will eventually scratch it beyond repair and have to buy lockon again . i know i got 2 copies already as one is well worn.. ed dont do the starforce and if its on my pc because of demo you should have told us we are open to backdoor attacks right as i am typeing

Do you think the Russian community is being given information that you "English speaking folks" are deprived of?. I dont think that is the case fat all . what i am saying is if they were estimates then say they are estimates. a release date were i live is what it means . if you said estimated then we would understand that any ways why say december then january then 1 more week . just say when it is going to be out or did you do that already . 3 times

bflagg, that is my point, when they tell us it is to be released such a day/time and then it is not for some reason , Then we are all piged of especially after 3 months and 3 dates. I think it much better to be told say 1 week before a launch . And then the forum is still clued up and special place . and then we know for definite. We still will be sent progress of the sims development, If they refrained from saying a date . No one is let down. just tell us the day before the downlink goes up or it hits the shop. the game progress and devlopment can stlill be relayed to our forums........ ....................................................flyimp :idea:

beta tester I compiled my feelings to words wrong. it was wrong for me to implicate the testers who do a great job . sorry to any beta tester who comes across this post and whom is offended. but somebody does and keeps getting our hopes up then shattering them.. Lets just have progress reports not release dates then when it right tell us.. :wink: ps( i know its comeing out any day but i mean for future editions but then i may be a minority some people may like the way it as been :cry: )

not again How frustrating first december then january. And now an english translation delay last week and the latest is (NOW WHAT). When they state a date for release they should mean it not ISSUE a guess the buisness is far to unpredicable for a definete release date to be asigned as ideas pop up and better ways to solve devlopment probs emerge . A date should be given only when finished . an aproximaion should do ( last like end of year 2004 or mid 2005 0r early 2005)then a date release issued only when definite ITS all done so to speak ITS FINAL. As regard development stages. should be issued in 1.2 3 stages and final stage. We could still be informed of development with no mention of release but only stages [ then we have a progress website but no one person like a beta tester guy or any one who is Not the management should refrain from making asumptions. And not to keep releaseing a final day for release when it aint burned to the discs and the manuals finished boxed and sealed if the web release is before the cd then fine if on same day then fine you know its done when on the way to shops so tell all . what do u advise bflagg thks for that. always thought . they were bad corrupt when they went blue. does it slow down game play or result in fps slow down . do i need to uncompress. and is it in the disk clean when i tick the compress old files. what is your advice. leave it or what. thks daz

hi i just did a defrag (getting ready for 1.1 release) . then i went to add some missions to lockon in the missions folder. and noticed that some dll an folder names were in blue font while others are black does black is normal does this mean my windows version is corrupt as they are normally black there are one or two in windows folder aswell but most are in ubisoft eagle dynamics. any ideas how to sort this or does it not matter to game or system stability :roll:

both for me i would like to purchase the download online. if its just a small fee extra to have a cd posted to my adress at the same time as downloading it that would be better. i also have a burner but would still like the original cd posting to me . as long as it dont delay the downloading. so i pay download it cd to follow within 3 to 8 weeks. cool for me.. lets get it going :P :P

what i am asking. 1 is the game finished testing. 2. is it just distribution holding the release date back. The first date was christmas i seen on lockon.ru. Then i ordered it on a website for the release date of jan the 15th they took the order (no cash exchanged) forgot the web address/name but it was european /dutch/belg/ but they did not contacte back even though they confirmed order in dec.. ?????? the website was not lockon. ru and they will probally contact me when it is released but why advertise the release date jan 15th if they did not know for sure. also if they advertise it they must have it on cd for west. or people would just get it on line from lockon.ru.. any ways hope its sooner than later..
