  1. So as the title say I am wanting to run DCS in VR without SteamVR, I have a PiMax 8K+ and I have loaded the game into PiTool however when I attempt to run the game without SteamVR installed, nothing happens. Task manager shows PiTool running but DCS never starts. When I have SteamVR installed and launch the game through PiTool everything starts as expected, SteamVR starts followed closely by DCS. I am wanting to run DCS without SteamVR because I saw SweViver jump from ~45 FPS up to 80 when running DCS with PiTool only. My system is Ryzen 3950 RTX2080Ti 32GB 3600mhz G.Skill ASROCK 570x mb 1TB Firecuda Sata 1TB Firecude M.2 I only ever see ~40 FPS and from what I have seen on various videos my system should be able to do much better than this. Please Help!
  2. So I thought it was my Gun Fighter 3, it appears that the issue lies with the combination of the VKB Gun Fighter 3 Pro and the F-18c module. There is a very serious y axis issue with makes the plane 100% unflyable; Immediately after wheels up the plane goes into an uncontrolled nose up (Y axis) accent, the plane will complete a loop with no stick input what so ever, forward pressure on the stick only modestly slows this nose up flight profile. I have tried many calibrations, dead zones, disconnect and reconnection of the stick and finally I have flown with the stick using other modules such as the F-16c and the F-14b. There is no issue when I use the warthog to fly, I would really like to use my GF3. PLEASE HELP! Cheers, L
  3. ok, after testing on aircraft I do not normally fly it seems this issue is only present with the F-18 but not present on the F-18 when I use my Warthog. If anyone has any idea why this is the case? let me know as I normally fly the F-18 and would be rather disappointed if I could not use the GF3 with that aircraft. Cheers, L
  4. So I have had my GF3 for about a week now, I was very excited and had high hopes... It has a serious Y axis issue where it always is putting back pressure on my controls whilst in the neutral position. The break leaver does not register on axis controls and the buttons give no sense of feel when pressed. I will say I went with the VKB because of the dry clutch and thought this would give a better return to center more akin to actually flying, whilst this function works brilliantly I am thoroughly frustrated with this stick, I have recalibrated numerous times (The VKB software is abysmal.) I have tried unplugging and reconnecting numerous times and then, the black box the finish was so poor on the connection for my pedals that it took more than 30 minutes to disconnect when the black box refused to recognize my TM pedals. I want to like this stick, why else would I have dropped the coin for it, can anyone assist with getting it working properly before I attempt to return it? Cheers, L
  5. hey, thanks for the response. Glad to know it is not my computer but rather a known issue.
  6. Thanks for the reply, I hope they fix it soon as carrier landings without it are a bit more difficult.
  7. I have been flying various aircraft with the supercarrrier pack, I have been landing on the Stennis and Washington, with the F-18 I get the enlarged on screen IFOILS but when trying to use the meatball that is physically on the carrier I have found the light is so weak I can not read it from the air, is this my eyes or is this a problem for others too?
  8. As the title says, DCS is rebooting itself when I attempt to turn a track I have watched into an AVI, I am wanting to make AVI's as the lack of a scrubbing ability in track view makes it difficult to scrutinize my landing. Any help is appreciated.
