  1. Ok, I retried, and I must say you are right, using SKVHAL to launch Kh-29 and Kab-500, weapons are not tracking.
  2. Su-27, Su-25, F15C still do not have overwing vapor, and MiG 29 apparently is using F18s vapor, while there is a proper MiG29 vapor in DCS files. ED still needs to sync lerx vortex to other clients on server and add more of them to other aircrafts.
  3. Kh-29T tracks moving targets during day, but Kab-500TV do not if used by Su-25T, AI still can make it tracks. I believe there is bug in the seeker, cause if you use Kab-1500Tv it works (not all the time idk why) for both Su-25T and AI.
  4. Sparrows (P version not included) have no mid-course guidance also called radio correction before getting close to target but is able to retrack after target lost. It must have an explanations, use same channel frequency after relock, I dont know... Other questions in term of game mechanics, Why the hell, the R-27R is able to retrack after relocking a jamming target ? Automatically switch to HoJ ? Why cant he do it twice ? Why the R-27 is able to track, after launching without lock, if target is in a narrow angle in front of the missile within 20 km ? Missiles is able to do some sort of LOAL. And 20 km, like the 77s pitbull. I am just asking questions to show it still doesnt make sense since the R27 update.
  5. It is literally writen there. "Inertial guidance with radio correction and semi-active radar homing at final stage" ! R77 uses the same logic, can "relock" during radio correction but R-27R cannot ?? I believe you need to keep lock and sync while final phase, but during radio corrections it should be possible to "relock" and guide towards target.
  6. As far as I understand, 27ER is guided with radio correction at first, then within like 20 km from target, plane irradiate the target to precisely guide it. Multiple questions : 1 : Why there is a launch warning at missile launch beyond 20 km ? Maybe USA technology managed to dissociate the waves between STT and STT + Radio Corrections. Ok fine. 2 : Why we cannot relock while guiding missiles through radio corrections and before precise guidings ? Because DCS do not simulate this mechanics (Radio correction + STT final guidance). Ok fine. 3 : Why Su 27 / MiG 29 cannot guide through radio correction in TWS ? 4 : Why Russia is still using R-27ER while facing Fox 3 generations ? I want to believe that russian Fox 1s are working like AMRAAMS. But instead of active radar inside the missile, it is the plane's radar emiting radiations on target and passive radar (inside missile) receiving and tracking the returns on final stage. So it is guided at first stage like a Fox 3 and within 15 -20 km from target it switches to SARH. Can someone enlight me more about this please ? Especially the R-27. Compare to real life stories, game mechanics. Lets just talk about it. I am here to debate, increase everyones knowledges about russian SARH missiles with scientific support, mathematical exemples, physics etc. Say it if I am wrong, no worries.
  7. You have to manualy switch to HOJ (depress the jamming signal, not the dot). The point of ECM activation of your target is to lose lock before burnthrough 45km, for FC3 avionics I am talking. So naturally it tries to reacquired with EO. It would be to easy to automatically switch to HOJ.
  8. In ME, if player FC3 unit is placed with, for exemple, 3 waypoints ; then, while flying, you set path to more than 3 points (place a path of 6 waypoints for exemple); after restarting NAV mode, game crashes. I believe scenario is unable to create more waypoints than the unit could be holding in the mission data.
  9. When you set path to your own plane, you need place more waypoints than initial waypoints of the unit in ME. If it exceeds, it crashes the game after reloading the NAV mode.
  10. Similar topic, which I openned but no responses so far : If in mission editor player unit has initial waypoints, and while during scenario, you set path for new waypoints and it exceeds the number of initial waypoints, after reloading the NAV mode, game crashes...
  11. Dear Eagle Dynamics, I would like you to add the feature to add / set waypoints on the F10 map. This feature already exist and works, with Combine Arms. If you set path (waypoints) to your own plane, after restarting NAV mode, waypoints will refreshed and display the new waypoints. Please ED allow us in multiplayer to add waypoints on F10 map. Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Null.
  12. Hello, if you have Combiend Arms, and you play offline, in F0 map, you can set waypoint to AI unit. So if you are doing this but to your own plane, it will change, in mission, while flying, the waypoints (after restarting the NAV mode). But I believe there is a bug if you exeed the number of default waypoints in the scenario, it will crash. But ED could just add the option in F10 map.
  13. Hello all, I want to debate about the fact that R/ER cannot relock anymore which weaken pretty hard the missiles now. Sparrows can relock, R77(before pitbull) can relock but why the ER can not anymore ?
  14. Hello, When setting waypoint to your plane while in mission running, while flying a FC3 module and setting waypoints in the F10 map, after reloading the cockpit waypoint mode (Switch back waypoint mode), the game crash. Easy to reproduce, create a player unit in ME with FC3 module, start the mission, spawn in the plane, open F10 map, click on yourself, set waypoints, validate, go back to inside view, reload waypoint mode, then crash...
  15. Hmmm “semi active TSD with lock on after launch” just read this in the manual.
  16. It is reallistic at the moment. It is because there is weight limit to take off from Kuznetsov. If you are full loaded of armament, you need to have the super carrier moving forward or you need to have less than 50% of fuel. For extrat prop, you also need to remove the air intake grids before take off (LAlt + I), to activate the special afterburner on the Su-33 (LShift + E), use the reactor deflector because there is special breaks on it (Press U when you are aligned with the signs on the deck). Fly safe!
  17. Thanks man, I was looking for this. Good job!
