Is a f117 still heavily classified? Edit - well you can download F117 flight manuals so I imagine only the actual stealth technology would be classified still? Would be quite an interesting plane to fly

Yes I too am having this problem, but it only had just started and I have not changed anything on my CPU or settings etc, I seem to crash when track ir is on, if track ir is switched off it connects without a ctd. Very frustrating

It seems to be track ir related as I get a ctd when I try to log in every time but when I don't start track ir I can connect, bu what is odd..no settings changed or anything it has Kay started to happen

I dont seem to have the issue again, Im not sure what fixed it but yesterday after the CTD I downloaded the vcredist_x64.exe and before I had started yesterdays games I had downloaded/repaired the net4 file and not restart the system after. So it could have been; not restarting my computer after installing/repair of the Microsoft net 4.0 or installing the VCRedist_x64 file

Hi all, I had two crashes when playing DCS World with the BS2 module last night, the first one was when my helicopter was about to hit the ground, and the second one was when my helicopter was about to get hit by a missile. no mods, I have the game installed on a normal HDD, but I changed the installation path, Ive seen that can cause problems when used with a sdd but not a normal hdd? Quite like a Europe map, the Nevada map for afghan style map, or a tropical / south east Asia style map with lots of small islands And a task force that the jtacs could control, it could be quite fun attacking an island by Air and navel bombardment, sending in amphibious ground units to secure the island to then use as make shift runwAy to attack the next islands from :)

Never flown anything but I've been ferried around whilst I was in the army in the following C17 Hercules Chinook Seaking Gazelle Blackhawk Puma O and a Tristar :)

Hi all, is it possible to use my iPhone as dcs shkval monitor? I know there is the app for the iPad, I've also noticed that there are apps which allow your iPhone to be used as a second monitor. Has any one done it yet?

Hi all, I am still getting to grips with Lock on, it has quite a steep learning curve, at the moment I fly the F15 or A10 when I want to pound the dirt, just wondering if there is a write up covering the pros and cons of each aircraft? or if not would someone be able to summarise the aircraft up for me please? :joystick:

Hinds, for some reason I love them..they look as mean plus there is alot of variety we could do for instance, resupply, medivecs, troop insertion.

Is it possible to create my own way points either at the plane selection screen or during the tactical map view F10? if not..how do you guys navigate around the map?

cheers guys, Ive managed to survive alot longer and destroy some targets, I took a longer causes and used the valleys and hills to flank the target zone before making my attack, this way I can evade the fighter sweep :joystick:

Hi all, I am new to the game and so far I am struggling to survive whilst flying the A10 which is my fav plane. At the moment I fly as low to the deck as possible on route to the target, however on route I get intercepted by enemy fighters, I start getting warning beeping. I use ECM and when someone has a missle lock on me, I deploy chaffs and flares and make some hard break turns. But I still get shot down. I am finding it hard to penetrate and hit my targets and I can not seem to use my A2A missiles for self-defence,this is whilst playing MP. Any tips for a wannabe A10 stick? in both offensive and defensive manoeuvres? and what's the best way to try and fight off any enemy planes? despite being cannon fodder..this is a very fun game :D and flying a few feet above the tree tops is great fun!

does the Tornado have its own pit? or does it borrow one?
