Hello all... I just bought the F-14 not a couple of weeks ago and notice the cockpit detail is not as sharp as I was hoping it would be. I find I have to use my Track IR and get really close to the screen for quality clarity. My specs... Intel i7-4790 3.6 processor overclocked to 3.8Ghz 16mb ram Windows 10 Geforce GTX 1060 6GB refresh rate 240hz 27" monitor 1920x1080 resolution On my in-game options panel everything is on the highest settings with the exception of Anisotropic which is at 8x, depth of field is off, SSAA off, and preload radius at 60000. With the above settings I have no stuttering or freezing at all. I know the 1920x1080 is not the best, but getting a new monitor with a higher resolution is not in the budget right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

Hello everyone! I have the F-14 and F-18 modules and decided I want to focus on the F-18 in carrier landings and A2A combat. Just skip A2G for now until I get reasonably competent in A2A. I uses the Logitech 3D Pro for a joystick and between the buttons on the joystick, keyboard, and clickable cockpit I think I should be covered for everything needed in the A2A mod. At least I hope. My question is what are the top commands I should have mapped to my joystick? Stuff like chaff/flare...etc...the basic top 12 commands. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah, tried both ways. In and out of game. Same thing. Shows slider 1 but doesn't work.

Game is not recognizing throttle. I get nothing when using my slider on my Logitech 3d Extreme. Throttle works with F-14 though so am not sure what's going on. In the config I go to thrust and assign slider but when I go in-game I get nothing. Frustrating as heck.

I have a X-52 Pro on the way which should arrive this coming Tuesday. I'm new to the game so am looking for any f-14 profiles players would like to share. Regards.

Hello all, I'm growing tired of WW2 planes from games like wwiionline and Il2:BOS, and would like to dive into modern fighters, so I came here and would like professional opinions from the experts. I have a couple of questions though. I would like to get into carrier operations, but first am guessing I should focus on landing and taking-off from land runways. 1.) I have a Logitech 3D Pro and I'm assuming that way too simple for the complex cockpits of modern day fighters. Should I go with the Logitech X52, or the Logitech X56? Mind you either of those two please. 2.) Should I start with the F5E, or should I just say screw it and jump to the F18C? I like the looks of Red Flag operations and am guessing I would learn a lot from it(?). Other then the obvious DCS World Steam Edition what modules should I start out with? Thanks for putting up with a newbie.

Roger that Hoot. I did a complete reinstall of the whole game minus modman and RC 3.0 which I haven't installed yet. Lomac, which I installed in C:\Program files (x86), FC 2.0 and the latest patch in C:\Eagle (a folder I created in C: drive) were all done with admin rights. When I get off work I'll make sure to set both the LOMAC icon and FC 2.0 icon to run under xp Service Pack 3 compatibility mode. Once I get all that done I'll install Modman with admin rights. By chance where did you install the modman file? Did you create a new folder in C: drive, or just let the installer choose the location for you? Regards, lepski

Ok, how about your regular LOMAC install? Did you let the installer place the folder in C:\Program files (x86)?

Ok, I installed LOMAC, FC 2.0 and the patch to play the game. 1st problem: I have latest version of Track IR yet it won't be recognized when I play FC 2.0. If I play the orginal LOMAC it will operate just fine, but it's a no go when I play Flamining Cliffs 2.0. Any suggestions? 2nd Problem. When trying to install VNAO RC 3.0 through Modman nothing shows up ingame. I'm not able to see ot fly the F/A -18 or F-14. What gives? I operate Windows 7 and if anyone can tell me where they install the LOMAC, Flaming Cliffs 2.0, and Modman folders it would be greatly appreciated. Do I let them be installed in C:\Program folder or maybe have them install in C:\Program (x86) folder? Should I install them with administrator rights? Any detailed help would be greatly appreciated. I've installed many a game with mods, but these problems have me stumped. Regards, Lepski
