  1. Hello, I'm having some trouble with rockets on the mirage f1. I'm calculating the target qfe, then setting my altimeter to that. Then using depression tables to find the depression angle, then flying the corresponding dive angle and speed and releasing rockets at the altitude set out in the depression tables. However for some reason the rockets are landing way way short of the targets (atleast 100-200m short). Does anyone have any idea what I may be missing here? Thanks
  2. I'm not sure how helpful this will be, but I have discovered I only have the sound issues when I don't have any mods installed. I installed the community a4 and the Hercules mod which weirdly fixed the sound issues. As soon as I uninstalled them the issues came back. I also noticed when I had these mods installed, some of the textures were missing on some of the liveries- mainly only the wing textures. I have no idea how having these mods would affect the mirage sound, but that is my experience. EDIT- just did some testing and can confirm it is the community A4 that fixes the mirage sound when it is installed in my case. I uninstalled/ reinstalled it multiple times, and each time it was installed, the mirage sound was fine, and each time it was uninstalled, the mirage sound was broken. Maybe this would explain why some people have the issues and others don't?
  3. Hello, I have just got vaicom and airio up and running and am loving it so far! I have run into a strange issue though where the radio tune command isn't being recognised for some reason, I just get unrecognised in voice attack even though it correctly understands what I've said. I have checked in the extension packs section of voice attack, and radio tune is listed there. All the other airio functions are also working normally such as tacan tune etc, it's just radio tune which isn't. I'd appreciate if anyone has any ideas, thanks!

    Ai rio issues

I've managed to get it working! It was a completely stupid mistake from me- on my desktop I have both voice attack, and VIACOM pro for dcs world, they both just launch voice attack but I only had one of them set to run as administrator! Thank you for the help! I have run into one other unrelated issue, for some reason the "radio tune" command isn't working for AiRio. voice attack understands my command correctly (eg. "radio tune 225.000") but it just says unrecognised. The weird part is when I go into voice attack commands, extension packs- the radio tune command is there, and works when I right click it and select execute. It just doesn't work when using my voice, any ideas? Thanks again for the help, it is much appreciated!

    Ai rio issues

No this is the first time I've tried to use it, I will double check the manual but I'm sure I followed the installation and setup exactly

    Ai rio issues

Hello! I have just been trying to set up vaicom and airio to use with the f14 and have hit a bit of a brick wall with it. I can't get any of the airio commands to work at all. In the ptt screen it doesn't show that I'm in the f14 so I'm assuming the issue lies with vaicom not recognising I'm in game perhaps? In game I'm able to bring up the default jester menu so it seems like the whole thing isn't working since I'm under the impression the jester menu should be removed when airio is working. If I say for example "jester set scan range 25" voice attack recognises it but just says airio commands not available. I've added the new commands by pressing finish in vaicom then pasting them into voice attack. I've also made sure the f14 radio is set to default in the DCS options but to no avail. I use the open beta steam edition and have set both of those options in the Viacom settings. I've now run out of ideas, so would really appreciate if anyone could help me figure out what I may be doing wrong. Thanks!
  7. I have pretty much the same issue after the patch. The engine noise inside the cockpit is barely audible even with the hear like in helmet option unchecked. The afterburner sound also now sounds like a lot more generic, and not the distinctive sound it made on release. I've never heard a mirage irl so I'm not sure which sound is the correct one, but the cockpit volume is definitely way too low.
  8. Hello! I've just bought the MiG21 and have been having an absolute blast in it! Easily one of the coolest modules I've flown in DCS! I'm just wondering if an update for the cockpit is still in the works? I've found little bits of info here and there but wasn't sure if it was still being worked on. As much as I love the module, I feel the cockpit visuals are starting to show their age a little bit, and some of the textures are looking a bit ropey compared with some of the newer modules. I'd really appreciate if anyone has any info on it, thanks!
  9. Thanks! I just straight up uninstalled trixx since I wasn't using the resolution scaling options anyway, unfortunately it still persists, I'll keep looking though and let you know if I find anything else!
  10. Sharpening does seem to be the culprit, it looks normal when I turn it off. I'm using a 5700xt, glad to know it's not just me having issues!
  11. Hi, I've noticed a very small bug/ weird texture issue where using AMD Radeon image sharpening causes the white stripes around the master arm button to appear pink. I'm not sure if this is an AMD issue or a Razbam one, but I haven't experienced it with any other modules so I thought I'd bring it to your attention. My drivers are up to date and I haven't had any similar issues in any other modules, or anywhere else in the Harrier cockpit. Obviously due to it being a post processing issue by Radeon software, the issue isn't visible in screenshots so I can't post a picture of the issue. Other than that, I'm loving the Harrier so far and appreciate all the effort that has and is going in to it! Thanks!
