  1. Say, do we know if the first variant we are getting has TISEO or not. I remember hearing that both have the Agile eagle Upgrade where one was a DSCG variant and the other was the DMAS. However, both DSCG phantoms (our first variant) and DMAS phantoms both had aircraft with and without TISEO.
  2. Also the Aim-4 IIRC had problems as well in Vietnam with reliability . But that was chalked up to the fact that the AIM-4 didn't have a proximity fuse
  3. Speaking about the Bridle, what differences does it carry compared to the launch bar era of Naval aviation we have in DCS?
  4. I may be wrong about Kermit's quotation , but I think he's talking about on the deck, the F-4E post Agile Eagle had its top speed drop from Mach 1.2 to Mach 1.15
  5. Any Cobra would be good but, id either like a AH-1F (Single engine Army Cobra) Or a Whiskey Cobra . An AH-1F would really add a Bluefor 80s attack Helo which could be an alternative to the Hind E A AH-1W would be really cool as it could use Sidearms and Sidewinders, along with TOWs and Hellfire's AH-1F AH-1W
  6. Yea, Sorry about that . Should've generalized and said the F-4 Family
  7. Which is weird, as the F-4E has a lot of cool stories. Bolo being one, along with Rimon 20. The only USAF Plane the Tomcat shot down. The father of PGMs and many more
  8. Yea, as well as the fact a competent pilot can use the great TWR of the Phantom to his advantage.
  9. Yea, Saw the thumbnail and knew it wasn't going to be good. Kinda sad the fact he hit most of the bad takes of the Phantom, Bad at dogfighting i could understand. But that just as you said, Misinformation
  10. Pictures for liveries for the F-4E 1st one is a F-4E Terminator 2020 2nd one and idk if its already been suggested is from the 57th FIS "Black Knights of Keflavik" 3rd is an F-4EJ Last one is a F-4F , similar to the E but without sparrows and one less fuel tank, among other changes
  11. Yeah, RS is pretty good, kinda corny but in defense of it, it was made to be an Ace combat experience for DCS
  12. Exactly, if we are going for non combat modules, I'd Pay for either, 1. either a C-130 module as you said. Or 2. an Ch-47 module. Both have Spec ops, SAR, Gunships, Transport, and are pretty cool in there own rights. As you mentioned, the C-130 has more missions is it could perform, Compass Call and Spooky being the coolest in my opinion. The Chinook on the other hand has a decent possibility for campaigns and missions, as the Chinook was used to transport troops, cargo , logging ,Disaster relief supplies. And in some circles, used to transport workers in Petroleum and logging Circle. To My knowledge , Anubis made a really good C-130 module and then was picked up by ED, so maybe they have a Herc Mod in the works +1
  13. Eh, to treat this OP seriously. It's due to ,1. most , if not all Stealth aircraft are classified. While the B-2A was developed in the 80s, the design and systems employed are on a need to know basis . 2. even if you could get SME information, the gameplay imo and others may say otherwise, would be pretty boring.
  14. If you are looking for a good campaign for the Hornet, BD's Raven one and Dominant fury are really good choices. Operation Cerberus North is also a great choice .
  15. And i think you also you are creating something that doesn't really have an equal currently in DCS.Most viper campaigns are either CAS/Strike Campaigns or strickly A2A . Having a SEAD Campaign is really refreshing as the F-16C is well suited to it . +1 , can't wait to play it
  16. +1 but... Republic got rid of most if not all of the manuals so it may be impossible to make
  17. I'd love a Potential BBG-1 as that was really cool to see in CMO's desert storm. example used below is from Deviant art as BBG-1 was never built . +1
  18. F-4S or bust for naval phantoms. As the F-4S has new leading edge slats, better missiles and Better Avionics. That or a F-4N as its the last phantom that one of the coolest F-14 Squadron , VF-111 flew. I'd go for a UK phantom before any other foreign phantom as it fits in the South atlantic map
  19. Would be cool though 8-track players are a little bit bigger than a Walkman.
  20. We already have the F-4E Id say either a F-4B/N or F-4J/S as the naval phantom maybe if we get a 3rd one it'd have to be either a F-4F Peace Rhine or Phantom FGR.2 .
  21. And while on the subject of early jets, I'd pay for a F3J or F4J fury. Those planes were essentially redesigned F-86s for Naval service.
  22. D phantoms would be really cool as it was a testbed for early PGMs such as the BOLT-117 and early pods such as PAVE KNIFE. Besides, F-4Ds served with multiple Air national guard units and would be cool to have it to model many home state units and was used by Iran as well. Also, the F-4D was the ace maker of many vietnam ACES, Chuck DeBellevue, Steve Ritchie and Jeffrey Feinstein all either had their first kills or were F-4D aces. +1
