I never used any mods for the MiG-21. I think certain time of day and weather combinations are triggering it. It definitely looks like two texture sets that it's swapping between when a light blinks in the cockpit.

I activated a free trial of the Viggen through the DCS free to play program. Initially the module worked but training missions were broken but now the module does not appear at all despite being installed. There is no Viggen in instant action, campaign, training, missions. It is also missing from the bar on the bottom of the title screen.

Looks like I declared victory too early. The problem is back. I flew a couple of missions without flickering there was no rain and it was close to mid-day. This mission is just before sunset and raining and the canopy flicker is back.

The flickering stopped for me in the current version of Open Beta. The writing is still on the front of the canopy.

After clicking "fly" at the start of the Cold Start training for the Viggen I see only the F10 map and cannot enter the F1 view. There is a NPC Viggen on the ramp which promptly starts up and taxis away on its own. There appears to be no aircraft with a player slot making it impossible to play through this training scenario. This is in the current open beta of DCS.

This occurs whenever there is a blinking light in the cockpit such as SORC or RWR. The canopy texture flickers between one with blue reflection and strange text on the front and one without the blue reflection and text. See screenshots attached. This also occurs in clear weather I just happened to have a mission with rain.

AI Su-33 on Admiral Kuznetsov sit in front of the ramp with blast shields up and never attempt to take off. I've attached the mission file where I saw this problem. liberation_nextturn.miz
