  1. Does anyone have a file to revert the spotting "FIX", I've created a file and it just does not work
  2. Nope, "Fix" does not work, still getting the same Access code violation, Tried everything from Ecores to Firewall, to the "Fix" linked and fresh install of GPU drivers and DCS
  3. Can someone post the Co-ords for Starwars canyon on the NTTR map. Thanks
  4. Typo in Mission 2 voice lines, Intercepting a "bougie" when the Mig 29 first pops up on scope
  5. When talking about MLW it is stated to "Remember to check if you have Burned of dumbed at least 500 Lbs before first landing
  6. Is there a quantifiable way to test this on your end as a Dev? It's a little tough to get an objective answer if members of the community are judging it by "Feel" Just in this thread someone says it has doubled and someone said it was the same.
  7. With the Super carrier now adding the burble into the Sim, Will the current F-14 burble be made redundant and players have to learn the new burble or will players not be affected by the ED burble and still use the burble we currently have. I guess worst case would be that both burble effects affect the aircraft
  8. When shooting a TWS missile in the F-14 AI aircraft do not react until missile active, However they chaff straight away from Missile launch, I've seen multiple instances both online and in single player of this occurring. 100% not a new bug as it's been around for the last two years.
  9. Thanks for doing this test, Long range performance seems to have much better lofting and guidance logic, Are you able to attach the A-mk60 Test as well for you long range shot. Also the wording on battery life confused me a little bit, The A-mk47 has a battery life issue that will not ship with hotfix, however the MK-47C and MK-60A do not have this issue?
  10. With the 4 different missile tests demonstrated in the white paper has the new drag logic been taken into account? I imagine the missile and Sim have changed a considerable amount since the white paper was published. With the current state of the missile the high alt intercept seems to be the only that continues to hit with regularity, The Sea skimming test does not seem to check out due to missile drag at low alt and reduced top speed of the missile down low. Hopefully a guidance logic update will solve issues with the MAX range shot, However the new drag modelling might cause an issue with the element. I also see an issue with the Multi target intercept with launching platform being at 28,000. It seems as is the missile does not have the kinematic performance to impact a target at 50NM fired under the parameters in the white paper. Is it possible to have the HB team demonstrate the new launch parameters in another White paper style document after the guidance logic has been updated with the upcoming hotfix?
  11. Considering this test was conducted in 1973 and the C model was not introduced to the 80's I find this unlikely
  12. When reading a book about F-14 flight test. "Tomcat the Grumman F-14 story" The author mentions the different fight test the missile went through in 1973 in order to certify the missile for use. These include Long range test Target M1.5 simulating a backfire ALT 50,000 Launching platform M 1.5 Alt, 40,000. Launch 110NM Missile loft to "peak altitude of over 100,000 feet" Kill was 72NM from launch point. Have not tried to replicate this exact scenario however when playing around I cannot seem to get the missile to loft to those Alts The other test that does not currently seem possible is this one Target M0.72 Alt 50 Feet (Sea Skimming) launching platform M0.92 ALT 24,000 Launch 22NM. The issue for this in game appears to be the fact the missile at that range and ALT difference pulls onto the target with little loft and bleeds all energy before getting to the target. (most likely due to new drag numbers) Note, These all seem to be done with AIM-54A MK-47 IRL. Cannot replicate these with the AIM-54A MK-60
  13. The F-14 does not "lock" a target as to say. The process for TWS auto should be. 1 The AWG-9 allocated TWS priority 2 The AWG-9 will flash the target when it is within 8 seconds of Optimum launching conditions. (This is usually very optemistic from the radar.) 3 You launch a missile which will give you a TTI (Time till impact). The number will stop flashing 4 You now have to maintain a track with the AWG-9 until the number starts flashing again. 5 When the track has started flashing indicating the missile has gone active. With target size set to normal this will usually be 16 seconds TTI (This means you can maneuverer freely) If you lose the track between steps 4-5 the missile will not go active.
  14. Title Jester move the own aircraft location by approximately 3 degrees and 23 seconds when entering an ST while using a map mark point. I have only tried to enter the WP via map mark point with the new Jester LANTIRN and while having the pod equipped
  15. I did, That does not answer the question, It only explains the functionality of the link.....
  16. Which version of the Datalink link 4 system is simulated in DCS, Do we have the basic Link 4A and Link 4C version, Or the ASW-27C upgrade to the datalink system? Something the devs might know. The upgrade was added in the late 90's and that might be later than our version of the B model tomcat
  17. Jester will give you a "Topped off" when you fill the internals even if you have the bags on, Did you get the message from the tanker or jester?
  18. I just noticed in a couple of D model cruise videos with LANTIRN footage that the LGB is designation is (GB12) rather than GBU12 just something fun I saw
  19. From my understanding the Aim 54C in real life was more of a fighter to fighter missile with a different A pole and F pole values as well as seeker head logic as referenced in Dave Bio Barnek's book Tomcat RIO as well as by well know RIO Ward Carroll. Will the Aim 54 in game be updated as per the missile scheme and API item as shown in Heatblurs Trello roadmap?
  20. Do you know if It is a high priority item? Any sort of eta on this item?
  21. Is there a plan to have a jester function for "next target" in TWS. Would be great so two different pilots both flying with Jester do not fire on the same target in TWS. With a Human Rio you can sort and designate TWS targets for your flight, Will this functionality come to Jester?
  22. Welcome to ANZUS, We are a DCS group based in the Australian time zone (AEST) that is focused on improving our flight skills to match those of the real life Royal Australian Air Force pilots and simulating the real world within DCS to the best of our abilities. While we are in Australia, we have pilots from all over the globe and operate the following Squadrons 77th Fighter Squadron - F-18 VF-213/VF-114 - F-14B/A 75th Fighter Squadron - M-2000 VMA-214 - AV-8B Harrier We are looking to add an F-16 SQN in the future and are looking for a CO, If you believe you are capable of leading a SQN please apply and send me a message. When joining our group we require everyone to fill in a quick recruitment form which will take 2 minutes of your time. After filling in the recruitment form we place you into our 1FTS (Flight Training Squadron) where you can learn and train with other cadets in order to pass a checkride. After passing your checkride you will then be placed into an active squadron and either continue training or be placed into an operational deployment. We offer a dedicated scripted server and have skins for each squadron. This server uses ATIS and ATC procedures which include training bombing ranges with monthly competitions. Missions normally run on a Sunday at 12:00 AEST (1900 Pacific Daylight time Saturday night). Requirements for joining: - You have the aircraft you want to fly - You have a mic and speak English - Persian Gulf is required but we do plan to use Multiple map in the future - Supercarrier is required for naval based squadrons - You must fill in the Recruitment form within 2 weeks of joining this discord as we are not looking for people sitting around idle Because we are a Australian based group, please stick to using AEST(GMT +10) times whenever talking or planning flights to avoid confusion. For all Questions please contact myself. https://discord.gg/uETbjZ5BjX YOU SENT AN INVITE TO JOIN A SERVER DCS ANZUS 31 Online84 Members Joined [7:39 PM]
