  1. I was able to fly and do a quick mission. Thank you Big for all your help.
  2. I'm able to install my aircraft now. Will update later after I have flown. Open Beta seems to be working....so far.
  3. Here is the Crash .zip and DCS log you asked for............hope these are the correct ones. dcs.log dcs.log-20201105-060850.zip
  4. Hi, I disabled G-Force altogether and still got no joy. The crash happens right after it says Getting authorization data. I never make it to the main menu. All I ever see is the small DCS World start-up splash screen. Here is the latest log.zip....... dcs.log-20201027-010008.zip
  5. I looked and it does say false at the end of that line.
  6. That is correct. Should I find a way to disable it, or change what source it uses? It doesn't physically have an audio cable hooking it up, it's an application to visualize sound on my computer. I also use it as my screensaver.
  7. I added the launcher and App .exe's to the exclusion list along with the whole Eagle Dynamics folder and still no joy. dcs.log-20201021-001818.zip
  8. I did try all those steps. The log posted is after all those steps and advice were done. dcs.log-20201012-170643.zip
  9. I click on DCS World Launcher. Pop-up comes up that says "Getting authorization data...." then the crash pop-up..."Unfortunately DCS has crashed. Allow DCS to gather additional debug info using dxdiag.exe?" I click OK. Pop-up....DCS failure...Log file has been packed to be sent to support service.....
  10. Thank you all for your words of encouragement and support. I have not been back in Game Mode since my last post and I'm already able to get it in an almost perfect hover. I never wanted to fly in game mode, but my schedule never allowed me the time to practice in Sim Mode and all I wanted to do was just fly and blow stuff up. But now I think I have the will to learn it more indepth. I'll soon start joining multiplayer and would love to see you guys in there. Blue Skies and Smooth Landings
  11. Yes, I found out the hard way that the collective does indeed work differently in Sim mode. I darn near got sick just before I died :D
  12. Holton181, When I say decent rate in level forward flight, I mean, I have the collective down as far as it will go and only able to decend at no more than 600fpm unless I nose down. No, I am not trying to fly this like a plane, totally different worlds if not universes there. Say for instance, I am flying over a mountain ridge @ 4000ft. My ingress point is just over 10miles away and @ 500ft. I push the collective all the way down and I can only attain 600fpm. To get down to a safe ALT so I am not detected before running in. To get that low before reaching the safe ALT I have to nose down to lose ALT fast.
  13. Let me start by saying Thank you for the quick replies guys. First, Imacken and Frederf, I know how to trim the Ka-50, it's just getting it in that sweet spot. Second, all of you, I use and just got the X-56 Rhino. I have the Trim set to Toggle Switch 3 and Trim Reset set to Toggle Switch 4. Third, I think I am just going to have to start from the beginning and just completely wipe my brain of everything I have learned and practiced in Game Mode. I really do want to be able to fly this bird in Sim mode since I also have the Gazelle and definitely want to get the Backbone of the USA, the UH-1H Huey. Something else I was wondering about. When in Game Mode and decending, what is the maximum decent rate I can attain in level forward flight? Unless I nose down, the most I get is right at 600fpm or 600mpm. I have everything set to imperial units, so I would think it would be FPM. The reason I ask this, I was in FSX and my throttle would not go all the way down to idle. Even in BS2 when sitting at the FARP the Ka-50 seems very light and the slightest movement of the stick makes me move in that direction. Another thing I noticed, when calibrating the throttle, the lower rotary at my thumb (G) is WAY off center. When I twist it to the indention the indicator on the calibration tool only goes to 35 instead of 50 out of 100. I'm just hoping this is something I can adjust and not my H.O.T.A.S. being borked up, I mean I just got it. So many things I need to ask I can't think of all of them right now, but these are the ones that are most pressing for me at this moment.
  14. Will any setting set the spoken language to English, like ATC, Support flights, Wingman. I hate having to read the subtitles while I am in combat. I hardly ever get online as I can not grasp the concept of flying in Sim mode as of yet. Kinda sad really, I've had Black Shark pretty much since the beginning....1.0.1 to this version. I'm trying to get to where I can fly in Sim mode, but having lots of problems just hovering. Maybe one day I will get the courage up to go online and make a complete fool of myself. Anyway, any help in this matter will be highly appreciated.
  15. AC Delta...I am about to see if that is the case. I feel rather stupid because there are two columns for the X-56 and I guess I just didn't think of that. I am not used to my flight controls being two separate inputs. I have been using a H.O.T.A.S. setup since the X-45 came out. As you know, those were single inputs, thus, separate axis assignments for stick and throttle. Wish me luck, going to try it out now, will let you all know how it goes. UPDATE: I got it working good now. Thank you all for helping.
