  3. SilverDevil, That was it! I had OC'd and unstable memeroy. I had forgotten all about it lol. Running beautifully and stable with MT.
  4. I have, on rare occasions, got the BSOD. Very rarely though.
  5. Running Passmark tests now and will report the results. Latest crash indicates DX11backend errors which I suspect is the main issue. Looking here on the forums for possible fixes. Attached are the log files & DCS log.zip (crash, dmp, log, trk & dxdiag, etc). dcs.log dcs.log-20230817-233412.zip
  6. 7. I Rebooted my PC and started the Multi-thread Exe (in bin-mt) as Administrator and tried a couple of flights. Both crashed within a minute or two. Hot Plug is Disabled. Image attached. Any suggestions? dcs.log
  8. Hmmm - I'll reboot and launch the multi thread exe and report back. We'll see if the log shows Device Hotplug Disabled. Strange, the control settings page is displaying the button currently as 'Enable Device Hotplug' which would indicate that it's disabled. Thanks again for your input!
  9. Ok - page file set to 32768 for Initial and Max. Device Hot Plug Disabled in Controls menu in-Game. Again, after a couple minutes I have a CTD. Restarted DCS, started a flight and same thing. Keep the the ideas coming. I'm determined to fix this once and for all. Thank you! dcs.log
  10. I also seem to have errors like missing roads and aircraft parts. For example: ERROR WORLDGENERAL (Main): Error: Unit [S-3B Tanker]: No property record for segment "STABILIZATOR_L001" ERROR WORLDGENERAL (Main): Error: Unit [S-3B Tanker]: No property record for segment "TAIL001" WARNING FLIGHT (Main): No taxiroad found on Nalchik from 9 to 16 WARNING FLIGHT (Main): No taxiroad found on Batumi from 11 to 1 Repair tool missed these perhaps? Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give those a try and report back. I did attach my log file so the entire list is within. Thank you!
  11. Hello, After only a minute or 2 of flying, the latest version of Open Beta (latest version as of today, 8/16/23) crashes to desktop. I've run the 'slow' file repair a couple of times, scf scannow (no issues), updated my 3090 to the latest driver but the problem persists. Attached is the last log created. If anyone has some suggestions on how I might resolve the issue, I look forward to hearing from you. DCS has been unusable for many months due to this problem.Thank you! dcs.log
  12. Hello! I built a functional AoA Indexer with a Nano. Works super with the F-18 & F-14 but would like to expand my Arduino code to support the T-45C. Anyone know where I can find the AoA name/interger info for this aircraft? The F-18 arduino code looks like this btw... DcsBios::LED aoaIndexerHigh(0x7408, 0x0008, 6); DcsBios::LED aoaIndexerLow(0x7408, 0x0008, 2); DcsBios::LED aoaIndexerNormal(0x7408, 0x0008, 4); Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  13. Thank you for the update. I thought this change might have been intentional.
  14. After updating Open Beta to 2.7.7.15038 ship wakes are gone. Only white foam remains. I've tried increasing ship speeds but still no wakes.
  15. I appreciate your guidance here. To make sure I understand you correctly, start a new thread under the 'Home Cockpits' category or 'Inputs and Outputs'? Thank you.
  16. This question was intentionally directed to gauge builders.
  17. A few years ago I invested in about $2000 worth of Flight Illusion gauges and use them with P3D and X-Plane. Does anyone know how or where I might find someone who might be able to create a software interface to drive them?

  19. Always remember to save backup copies of your original files!
  20. Greetings fellow simmers, For those who go for a more immersive experience and export displays, MFDs, DDIs, etc to multiple monitors, I have been tweaking aircraft files to use with my real Heads Up Display system. Setting up viewports for HUDs requires lots of tweaking time but to date I have successfully tweaked the F-14 and T-45. I'm sharing my work so you too can export your HUDs for these aircraft. Here are some pictures and the files. Just unzip the files and read the Installation.txt files that come with each. Happy flying! 21. This is very helpful! Thank you. Regarding modules, did you have to deactivate them on your old PC then install and reactivate on your new PC? Please describe the process and bugs, if any, you ran into. I'm building my new PC today and will be facing the same situation.
  22. I fixed my issue! A little more research and a couple edits did the trick- In my monitor config: Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 3840; height = 2160; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 3840/2160; --changed this } } and... UIMainView = Viewports.Center --GU_MAIN_VIEWPORT = Viewports.Center --remarked this out
  23. LeCuvier- In the same file dhange the word 'COLLIMATOR' to 'COMMOM' on line 13 or so: indicator_type = indicator_types.COMMON -- was COLLIMATOR You should now see it exported although the fonts and lines are thin. Working on that this weekend and I'll share any improvements I find. Any suggestions for my 'squashed' main screen problem? It's driving me crazy! There should be separate horizontal and vertical FOV adjustments somewhere. Changing aspect ratio in the Options screen has no effect. Aaaarg!
  24. I have an aspect ratio problem myself and also have a multi-monitor setup. My main view is squashed and am looking for suggestions. My MFD exports all work fine. It's just my main view is squashed. The aspect ratio definitely displays incorrectly but it's set properly in the options menu. Anybody have ideas? I probably overlooked something simple! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's my monitor config file: _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('DansDCS1'); Description = 'Multi-monitor configuration' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 3840; height = 2160; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = screen.aspect; } } -- F-18 ------------------------------------------------------------ F18_HUD = { x = 4170; y = 185; width = 270; height = 380; } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 3840; y = 768; width = 500; height = 500; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 3840; y = 1268; width = 500; height = 500; } CENTER_MFCD = { x = 4873; y = 65; width = 714; height = 680; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center GU_MAIN_VIEWPORT = Viewports.Center
