I agree, it's close anyway, I have no idea what Boeing were thinking with that one.

They are also planning a Gripen I believe, I agree it needs to be a C model to be useful. We hear this a lot about certain aircraft being too complicated to model correctly in sim. In reality, VEAO have a lot more access to the aircraft than the rest of us and are confident that they can provide a product that is to DCS standards, and something very close to the real thing. This is good enough for me, it would be naive of us to expect all systems from a military aircraft to be 100% modeled in a public sim. I'm pretty sure that ED's A-10c has some items stripped from the consumer version, they don't detract from it at all so let's hope it is a similar situation with VEAOs Typhoon. As long as it looks and flys like a Typhoon, and the buttons do what I expect, I'll be very happy. DCS is a game ultimately and having a Typhoon that is even 95% what the real thing is, is better than having no Typhoon imo. Let's not write it off so eagerly at this stage anyway. I'd love a Gripen personally, I'm a big fan of Swedish aircraft.

It is of a very high quality, but it doesn't have a clickable cockpit etc like the full on DCS modules. It is certainly worth picking up however. It looks great and has a nice flight model.

Yeah, if you order Nevada now, you get the discount still, and can choose between either this or the F-15c campaign. Still a good deal imo.

The Hawk hasn't been pushed back, so much as it is indefinite at this stage as it will require a new EFM, or part of one at least which is a lot of work to do. It was never sold with that as a feature anyway to be fair. It might happen down the line, but don't count on it. They are however hoping to implement a rear seat so that you can at least fly from that position which will be great imo. I'd like an SU-30 or Tornado myself ;)

I'm not sure it increases their size so much as add a small label on top of them if I understood Matt correctly. I haven't tried it yet, but it is a very welcome change imo.

I have a fast connection, so downloading isn't a problem. It does however make me wonder just how large DCS World will eventually become as we see more scenery and aircraft released.

Nobody was kidding, it was close and an unfortunate last minute issue kept it back. Can't be helped, we've waited so long anyway that it doesn't really matter at this point. I really appreciate the updates personally, and the videos.

I know the feeling, I purchased the A-10c three days too late to receive Nevada for free ;) I was frustrated for a while, and then I realised that I get so much joy from DCS that I don't actually mind paying. It's all good. Are you sure you missed the deadline however? I purchased Nevada the day it went up for order and didn't get any kind of notification about the campaigns, I assumed they will be added automatically later.

Did I miss something? DCS 1.5 hasn't been released lol. I agree with the sentiment though, and any opportunity to thank Matt and the team is worthwhile. It certainly seems it isn't far off now, I imagine the team will have a long, hard day trying to squish all of the last minute bugs. It will be worth the wait for sure.

Best of luck Matt and team, we've waited this long anyway. With regards to the previous discussion. Could you shed any light as to how long 1.5 will require DCS Beta version, just so those of us who would rather not install it know whether to wait it out, or just go ahead and install two copies of DCS? Many thanks.
