  1. I'm with you, obviously I'm excited for combat aircraft such as the Viggen. But I wouldn't complain about getting something like that. With the flight models, and in depth systems we are treated to in DCS, I would welcome almost any aircraft down the line as it is a pleasure to just go out and fly some times. And like you said, it may draw in new customers which would only be a good thing. Maybe in future when we have a few more in demand aircraft and some more maps etc.
  2. Beat me to it, I'll add the pictures to the first post so they are easy to find. It looks great!
  3. You joke, but it's actually a nice looking plane with some potential ;)
  4. Me too, I never fly the Mig-29 at all, the new pit will definitely change that, a PFM would be most excellent.
  5. Seems the Mig-29 is getting some much needed love in 1.5 and is getting it's new cockpit. FC3 has turned out to be incredible value with all of the extra work that has gone into it... From the change log... "MiG-29 New 6DOF cockpit for Flaming Cliffs 3. New external model is in progress." And here it is in all its beauty :)
  6. Well I was eager to see the Viggen announcement... Sorry, surprise announcement ;) But no need to explain, I'm sure whatever you guys are building behind the scenes will be worth the wait. And the fact you're hoping to release two modules before the year is out is surprising and very good news. Also, if you guys are going without sleep to get the Mig 21 working with 1.5, that must be pretty imminent... Good times.
  7. RAF Waddington airshow scrapped for good, very disappointing. Not only was it the most local show to me, but it was always a great day out with some impressive visitors... http://thelincolnite.co.uk/2015/09/raf-waddington-air-show-scrapped-for-good/ .
  8. I agree, rockets are fun, having more can only be a good thing.
  9. See my last comment, it is the SFM...
  10. Is AMD not playing ball or something? Genuine question, I had an AMD years go but moved over to the dark side where I'll be staying for the foreseeable future.
  11. EFM is very much on the way... .
  12. I'm just going to leave this here... Matt is not an evil trolling genius, he's way too nice for that. So lets just assume that DCS: F-5 is highly likely... Actually, let just say unofficially confirmed ;) Taken from this video for those who haven't yet seen it.
  13. I imagine this thread will be seeing a surge after this excellent video by Matt...
  14. Like it? I loved it! The model looks great, glad I pre-orderd it now and I suspect you will get a boost in sales after this video. It's just the SFM, I guess you'll be very impressed when the proper EFM arrives then.
  15. I'd like to see that, I have Henry Hoover standing by to record the sounds.. South Korea may be giving them a new lease of life soon also which would be nice to see.
  16. Yeah, given that is one of the viggens fairly unique characteristics (along with the Harrier and some other Saabs) I really hope ED or LNS find a way to make use of this. It would be great to be able to corden off a strip of road and place some temporary assets so we could land the Viggen on a highway and re-fuel/re-arm etc. It would be fun to do for starters, but more than that it would be extremely useful in certain situations. I agree, and fortunately VEAO are on the case.
  17. Can never please everyone. I think it's clear from the majority of posts on here that the Viggen would be a very welcome announcement.
  18. Any Hawk updates are music to my ears.
  19. Don't like the FW-190 in DCS at all personally.
  20. I'm really liking the look of the vive. But ultimately I'll buy the headset with the best screen and overall performance. I'm certainly not rushing in to a purchase. I've waited this long anyway..
  21. Enjoyed this one as ever, thank you again for taking the time to do these. Nevada looks nice with its new colours, and the L-39 looks great as ever.
  22. That makes sense, thanks Matt. For those who may have missed this bit of info from a different thread....
  23. Me too, All you need to do is glance at a twin seat Typhoon, Gripen, Jaguar etc etc, the elongated lines and extra curves always add to the aesthetics for me. Even more bulbous examples such as the Hawker Hunter and Lightning. I'd love to see twin seaters in DCS, but I can see why they aren't being made in favour of their single seat counterparts (when the option is there) The single seaters generally have more performance, focus and capabilities. And it isn't a simple case of adding an extra seat ect to the existing single seat modules, they would require whole new flight models etc. The Mirage 2000 may actually be an exception though, the 2000D could make for a great module and just happens to be a nicer looking twin seat version...
