  1. Ah, I thought that option was for something along the lines of rotating the helicopter :P My bad, then!
  2. Hey guys :) So, I'm trying to set up some controls for the Huey, however I've bumped into a bit of a problem when it comes to the collective. I simply can't find any axis command for it? This is all I see: http://i.imgur.com/m9HyjTu.jpg I do have a "throttle" option, however I don't want to bind the throttle on my Joystick, I want the collective :) What's going on here?
  3. Oh wait, I tried to disable and then enable it, now it seems to work!
  4. Hey Flagrum :) Thanks for the reply and help :) Unfortunately, I can see that the TrackIR aiming is already enabled :( That's kind of weird.
  5. Hey everyone :) So I just obtained UH-1H yesterday thanks to the steam sales! :pilotfly: Anyways, I've been getting a chance to learn it tonight, but unfortunately I still have one problem. When I try to use the side gunners, I can look around using the mouse just fine, but the gun aim doesn't follow it :( I've checked the controls, but I'm not allowed to assign any axis commands for the gunner sights, and right now all there is is some keybinds to aim the gun left/right/up/down, but that is extremely slow and completely useless. How do I assign the gunner aim to mouse look? I can't really seem to figure that one out!
  6. Best day ever! Just purchased A-10C and Black Shark 2!
  7. Hey guys, thanks for all the input :) And thank you for the warm welcome badger! Haha, I'm already itching to buy some new modules, A-10C included! ;) Yes! This is exactly the same mission where I get the warning, but I've now noticed I get it when playing online, too.
  8. Hey everyone :) First of all, finally back to DCS after... well years of not having been into flight sims due to school and various other person reasons. Just returned a few days ago and I'm just amazed at what have happened! Downloaded DCS: World and have been playing it almost non-stop this weekend :D This game is aboslutely gourgeus, and it must be the best and most ambitious combat flight sim I know! Already itching to buy some new modules ^^ Anyways, so I've been doing a lot of practice flying and learning some theory about the SU-25T. There's one thing that keeps bothering me, though. I haven't been able to find anything about it. When I'm at the airport doing a new mission, just being parked and getting ready to take off, I will power up my electrical systems, and immediately I will receive a loud AOA + G limit warning. As far as I know the AOA is an angle of attack warning, but I'm not even flying yet so I'm not sure why it's giving me the error. Both errors stop when I start to move the plane slowly, though... What's up with that? And how can I turn those warnings off? Thanks everyone! :pilotfly:
  9. @Conure: haha, thanks a lot mate, using those buttons to switch between weapons did the trick :D doh... :noexpression:
  10. Hey all! Just a newbie here trying to get to gribs with this beast of a helicopter :D Anyways so for the last couple of days I've just been messing around, trying to get a feel for the aircraft. I've been following the How to take off and blow stuff up tutorial, but there is one section that pretty much leaves me clueless... basically whenever I come to the part describing the weapon status and control panel, I can never seem to get it right as the tutorial shows it should be... that is, my panel isn't showing the store type at all, second of all I'm pretty sure the selected weapons remaining display shows that I do not have the missiles selected (tutorial shows it should be around 12 for the missiles), where mine shows 24... I guess it's some kind of cannon. I've tried pushing the buttons the tutorial shows me to, but no matter what I can't seem to get it completely right:huh: So I guess my question is.. how come my cockpit does not show the store type? And should I get as far as actually getting that to work, how do you switch between the weapons and make them ready to launch? Thanks!
  11. haha, believe me Haukka, already looked into it, aswell as having watched that video ^^ Unfortunately I am anything but ignorant of what I'm currently losing out on... :(
  12. @manne: So far everything have been just fine with the use of my Logitech :) Although I really do get what you mean by using head tracking, as that's the only bigger problem I've found, seeing that it takes a bit more focus away having to manually look around the cockpit during flight with all those buttons :D I really do like the simulator though, and I'm fairly certain that it'll keep growing on me, haha. I could definitely see myself purchasing head tracking and a proper HOTAS setup as I can already imagine how much it must add to the experience.
  13. Alright, just purchased the game through Steam, so will give it a try tonight! I'm locked and loaded with patience! :smartass:
  14. Well unfortunately I've been having a long summer break until I start up on my computer science degree in a few months... so my income is unfortunately staggeringly low! Of course I should just go ahead and blame myself for that as I could've easily picked up some freelancing work, but how much fun is that!?
