  1. Lord Vader's post in 2nd takeoff control freeze from non SC module carriers still present after fix in beta update 2.9.2.49629 was marked as the answer
    Hi again.
Is this the case Черный Скиталец? Do you not have the SuperCarrier addon?
If that's the case, then it was previously reported. Otherwise, let us know.
  2. Lord Vader's post in How to STT the current L&S contact? was marked as the answer
    Hey @Rongor
We will be revisiting the DCS: F/A-18C manual in the future. This is a Early Access manual and this module has seen multiple adjustments and refinements on its procedures and logics.
Thanks for bringing this up, we've added to our list of changes for a future update.
For now, refer to page page 168 on the same manual for the correct steps to switch to STT.
  3. Lord Vader's post in Can someone explain the new datalink "feature" to me? was marked as the answer
    Hi again.
After a review of the procedures regarding this particular item, we are going to need some time to refine this particular system. So we ask you to be patient, for now the Datalink will work following the procedure stated on the changelog. In a future update this will be refined further.

    Thank you for your collaboration.
  4. Lord Vader's post in APU start sound looping in Multiplayer was marked as the answer
    Hi @shagrat
We are also aware of this issue for some time. It's reported, just not a high priority for now. We'll address it soon.
  5. Lord Vader's post in Cockpit handle doesn't turn in external view was marked as the answer
    Hi @Hootman9104
I've sent this to the team for analysis. This is, however, a very low priority item.
    But thanks anyway.
  6. Lord Vader's post in Canopy reflection still shows when turned off was marked as the answer
    Hey @Nealius
I am reporting this internally for analysis.
    Thanks.
  7. Lord Vader's post in F16-tgp cursor offset and markpoint problem was marked as the answer
    Hello @Savta35
Several fixes and corrections to these logics are being worked on currently to be added in the next Closed Beta update.
We understand this creates an inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
  8. Lord Vader's post in Documentation Errors/Typos/Enhancements was marked as the answer
    Hi @gofrm76
There actually isn't a channel just for the manual discussion as far as I recall, which can be something we may add later.
However, the current manual is an early access version and a revision is currently being made to correct and add items. So it could be the case the issues you found can already be solved in the new version coming in the near future.
    Thanks for your support.
  9. Lord Vader's post in AGR undesignate does not reset JHMCS / HUD target box to selected steerpoint was marked as the answer
    Hi @dutchili
When you enter the CCIP sub-mode, it ignores any SPI indication, slaving sensors to the bomb pipper. There is nothing in that mode to undesignate regardless of what SPI you previously had.
The diamond on your HUD/HMD coincides with the last location of designation, yes, but it's actually the last steerpoint with the added deltas. It's not actually a designation. If you press CZ it will revert back to the original steerpoint pre-designation.
Hope I could help you understand this.
  10. Lord Vader's post in Changing skin deletes the FCR was marked as the answer
    Hi, @Zarmaand all repliers.
This is a known issue with some liveries and is already reported internally.
    Thanks for bringing this up.
  11. Lord Vader's post in Present position difference between TSD and map was marked as the answer
    Hi @vctpiland repliers.
There does indeed seem to be a discrepancy in the TSD coordinate data.
I have raised this internally for analysis.
  12. Lord Vader's post in JSOW acts like a JDAM when TOO Waypoint Designated was marked as the answer
If that's the case, then you need to edit the mission and reduce the waypoint altitude to ground level or edit the waypoint to add the correct ground elevation.
That's the rule of thumb for any waypoint to be converted to a target point on any aircraft.
The weapon doesn't know the current altitude of the target, as it doesn't know its position until you tell it so. Like you describe, It will fly towards that point in the sky and obviously miss.
  13. Lord Vader's post in - AGM-65D position on HUD is not aligned without TGP: was marked as the answer
Hi all, EOS-VIS is undergoing some refinement.
Please test this again after the next Open Beta update and report back if this is still an issue for you guys.
    Thanks for understanding.
  14. Lord Vader's post in Jammer remains on even if it's no longer installed and switched off was marked as the answer
    Thanks, @Pyrocumulous
    I have reported this internally.
  15. Lord Vader's post in EGI restarts mid-attack (Multiple occurences) was marked as the answer
    Hi @adirtynurse
I agree with the analysis that the engines appear to enter a shutdown/cut-off status when this occurs. In the second clip the left engine is even completely shutdown.
I tried following your videos as best as I could and could not replicate the issue. I performed steep dives from high altitudes and never have engine shutdowns or cutting-off.
I would review you keybindings and/or axis, maybe clear the fuel cut-off switches bindings and test some dives, then remap them.
  16. Lord Vader's post in MLG shock absorber was marked as the answer
    Hi @Flanker35M
I've sent this for internal analysis, but it will be at a lower priority for now.
    Thanks for bringing this up.
  17. Lord Vader's post in TSD Point Rings was marked as the answer
Alright, thank you @placsea and @[RENEGADES] T-Bone, I have reported this internally.
  18. Lord Vader's post in Mav F hitting wrong target was marked as the answer
    Hi @Rotte
The AGM-65F is a "fire and forget" weapon. It will only acquire what you tell it to acquire.
If the target is moving, then it can reacquire another higher contrast target under very specific conditions, but only in the very close vicinity, like an overlapping structure, for example. For that matter, make sure you have a secure and confirmed lock prior to launch.
We would need a track replay to understand what you are doing.
  19. Lord Vader's post in ACLS trying to kill me in weather was marked as the answer
    Hi @Shaman
Like @Sharkku said, your description is somehow vague. We need to see what you're trying to do and require a track file to do so.
  20. Lord Vader's post in Ah-64 autostart sequence bug was marked as the answer
    Hi @target
I ran your track and the auto start sequence is stopping because your collective isn't down as required. The system warns you about it and you see in the axis window your collecting is about halfway.

When I took control and moved my collective down, I ran the auto-start and it worked ok for me.

  21. Lord Vader's post in CMSC all off on hotstart? was marked as the answer
    Hi @SPAS79
I have reported this internally. Thanks for letting us know about it.
  22. Lord Vader's post in Autostart does not switch to NAV after INS alignment was marked as the answer
    Hi @MadKreator
Like said above, the knob isn't turned to NAV because it is performing a fine alignment and it is still ongoing.

You will need to turn the knob when it reaches alignment (at state 10).
  23. Lord Vader's post in VIS/DTOS move the SPI WITHOUT designation was marked as the answer
    Hi @[31st] Spider
What you are experiencing is the adding of deltas in VIS mode. This is correct behaviour.
Pressing TMS aft in VIS mode will revert to pre-designate mode (cursor slaved to the FPV).
Steerpoints are not "altered", you can return to PRE or CCRP mode and then press CZ to remove the deltas.

  24. Lord Vader's post in Tree Trunks scattering laser/range incorrect was marked as the answer
    Hi @Gunslinger52
I watched your track and it appears you are trying to hit the tree trunk at the base and then halfway. I do indeed see the rounds hit beyond the trees once you move up the trunk, but this is expected behaviour.
Not only are we dealing with a limitation of how trees are depicted (not affecting sensors and weapons, something that may one day be reviewed), this is also a perspective illusion. Even though you are aiming "just above", the targeting is actually being performed way back in the terrain. Something that's even more evident because you are aiming at a sloped area. So the weapons will fly further.
Try to do this on a building or a large object and you'll see how it compensates correctly.
  25. Lord Vader's post in CMWS Switches - Most don't sync was marked as the answer
Alright, looks like you're programing it like I am.
I do see CMWS not recognizing the initial position, but not the others you mention. I will report it internally for the team to have a look.
    Thanks.
