  1. Another thing, After trimming the pedals position is some times also added to the new center position as you press the trim button when having center position trim. So it in effect doubles the input until you return the pedals to center which i believe should be the behavior of insta trim...
  2. Yeah and some one forgot a strap buckle or something haging in mid air infront of the cyclic. Also the vivian freezes during panning and you have to reset the axis to zero. Talking about resetting axies to zero, the center position trimmer acts like the instant trim in 50% of the cases
  3. Something happened with this in the 21/9 patch.. The Collective SAS is not as aggressive when changing pich of the helicopter anymore, tho it will over torque the engine trying to maintain altitude if you pitch forward for too long and correcting your collective correction? Also now the altitude hold is very unstable and ocilates untill you fall out of the sky. atleast out of ground effect apache-jojotrk.trk
  4. Sounds like the same issue we are discussing in this topic
  5. Yes, I also just realized that. Even if you turn off the FMC COLL that saturation warning still sounds as if its on. (also checked that no other channel were saturated). Guess I have to shelve the apache for another month
  6. This sure makes it difficult. SAS picks a altitude at random and then tries to maintain it. Also found that after a while the actual altitude hold wont engage any more.
  7. Thanks. Didn't find that post That it looks different ant acts different in different modes is a given. The question here was about the drift and if it is to be expected. And as linked by Crptalk it has been seen before
  8. No I know that. thats not it. Its like in the screenshot (sitting still on ground) but even more off. (might have exaggerated the speed a bit) Im gonna try that. Still would it really work that way? For example helicopter thinks its at 5kn moving to the left when sitting still but as i can see the absolute position is correct
  9. I don't this is the same thing. The hover/bobup symbology actually shows a velocity in some direction when the aircraft is actually at a stand still. That doesnt go away when resetting the SAS Edit added screenshot. And this is just after a few min of flying
  10. Hi. I'm by no means smooth on the controls and good at keeping the Apache stable in a hover but I started to notice it was harder and harder the longer I have been flying. So after been practicing some hovering and doing touch and goes for a while, mostly starring at the symbology i look out the window and while the symbology says I'm perfectly centered and doing 0kn I'm basically at take of speed for a small aircraft. After landing and at a stand still the velocity vector is way back while standing still on the ground. There is a big drift with the velocity vector in hover mode that get bigger over time. I have attached a trackfile and shows the drift after just a short while. Is this a bug or should the aircraft really drift off this bad in such a short time? vv-drift.zip
