  1. You have to reload the track twice, i forgot to mention because sometimes it just appears that I took a nose dive to the ground when in fact I didn't. I'm not sure what you saw but I managed to kill all enemies but I took 2 sams to the ass and had to fly home tailless. Thanks for the response btw. :D
  2. Hi, as you will find out, I'm not the best pilot out there and my tactics are probably pretty rusty. I was hoping that someone would watch one of my recorded successful missions and critique my combat strategies and flying. The main reason I'm posting this is because I've been having a lot of trouble with harder missions (especially the defense missions) and I need some advice which might help me beat those seemingly impossible missions. Thanks in advance. ~QuickCam EDIT: For some reason sometimes the track will appear that I nose dived into the ground,(when in fact I did complete the whole mission without dying) reload the track a few times before you watch the whole thing. 3. Thats odd. Ive gone through like 5 different missions (without completing any objectives) and the game acts like it cant recognize that I failed.
  4. I've been playing the Georgian Oil war campaign recently and much to my disappointment, it seems like there is no actual mission progression in this game. If I crash at the beginning of a mission it still goes on to the next one and so on. It feels rather pointless, like i'm not actually accomplishing anything by completing objectives while I could just kill myself immediately and move on to the next mission. Is it supposed to be like this? Do all the campaigns have no progression or is it just the oil war campaign? I really like to having a sense of progression and accomplishment in a campaign but without that, I don't see any point in completing it. Is my game bugged or it really supposed to be like this?
  5. This happens most of the time on the georgian oil war on the first mission.
  6. How did you get them to be so cooperative? My AI just sit around and do Jack Shit even when I tell them specifically to kill a target. Nice run by the way.
  7. One other thing; if I were playing the game without the disk in, would that be the cause of problems like this? Since the game runs without it, I'd rather not have to bother popping in the disk every time I play if I don't have to.
  8. They should have a radio station like Independence.FM from GTA where you can add your own music. :D
  9. Game crashes to Desktop. Recently I've been playing the Oil War campaign (Deployment was too dull for me) but I have not been able to complete ANY missions because about every 20-30 minutes the game gives me a "runtime error" and Crashes to desktop. I have the latest drivers, ect. so that's not the problem. Here are my specs: Windows Vista 32 bit 3.0 GHz CPU intel quad core ATI 4870 1GB video memory 4 GB of RAM 750 watt power supply I have all settings on HIGH except for water (medium) and View Distance (low, because Vista is such a damn memory hog). Help with solving this problem is much appreciated. :) Also, I'm not sure how to attach that .crash file to this thread, it just says "invalid file".. Edit: I renamed the .crash file with .txt. 10. Re-posting in bugs/problems thread you can delete this one.
  11. Not sure I follow you there. What do you mean by "increasing the size of your OS swap file"?
  12. I just realized I should have posted this in the bugs and problems section, my bad.
  13. [Thread re-posted in bugs and problems]
  14. Look at all the producer's notes on youtube or via download. Also, look at the "Leading Edge Training" video If you want to know how to get up off the ground the RIGHT way. That is how I learned to drive this baby without too much reading. EDIT: Also, If you think you are just not that good at simulators, Try IL-2 STURMOVIK 1946. It will quickly get you into the "Feel" of realistic flight mechanics without the vertical learning curve and you can pick it up on amazon for about 16 bucks. I think if I hadn't clocked 50 hours into that game before I played this one, I would have never managed to fly this thing.
  15. Oh lol! I kept thinking I was just supposed to tap the trigger and boom. Well now that Im blowing shit up, I think I'll give the campaign a go. :pilotfly:
