Hm, maybe somebody here can help me. I am messing around with a DualHead Setup, but i cannot get anything working. The problem is, no matter what i try, BS doesnt seem to recognize my changes in the options.lua. So if i change settings in the monitorsetup/foobar.lua it gets recognized, but not the changes in the options.lua. Any Ideas what i might do about that? Just to make things easier i disconnected the one display from my mobo ati and disabled the onboard graphic card. Now i have a plain Windows 7 setup with nvidia. I read around a bit and found some threads handling this, but none of the proposed solutions work for me. I tried changing the options.lua but that doesnt seem to work? it just overrides the settings in there? For example when i set fullscreen to false, it still opens and plays in fullscreen? Whereas it seems to recognize the setting in my monitorconfig, but, the problem remains, BS only opens on one screen, and the second always shows my windows screen, no matter what i try. I even tried that softth, but it neither works too :( Any Ideas on that?

Uhm, i am trying an experimental setup, i have two 22" connected to a nvidia PCIe card, and a second 19" connected to my onboard ati device, windows recognizes them all and i can use them correct, but the problem seems to be, BS only recognizes the main display and the rest is ignored, no matter what i try, i also found the graphics.lua and tried to change settings there, but with no success.

Hi, i am trying to get multiple monitors working. I found the Monitor folder in Configs, but if i add some new configs there, i dont see them in the options monitor menu. What do i have to do to add there my own setups/configs? Thanks Sven

Thanks for all the Tips, i bought a Saitek Cyborg X to get things started, watched one of the vids i found and even managed to get off into the air. Feels cool, if not to say great, now i will try to read more and get a feeling for that BS :-) I am sure i come back to ask for more.

Ah ok, well, i come frome a more unix like background and like to do everything with the keyboard, this feels more natural to me, if i only compare the time i need to click something or to press two or three keys i get a headache when thinking about clicking :D But if this is the way to do it, then i'll do it. Well, the non-pro X52 costs around 100€ right now, i dont know if i want to spend that much, just to find out one week later that i dont like this game. So my next question is, can i play this one for some time keyboard only? Just to find out if i am willing to spend that much on a "joystick"? Or should i at least buy a cheap one cause the keyboard control sucks at all?

Do i really have to go for the keyboard manual and look for each order i have to follow for the corresponding key? How did other ppl learn which keys to press to get that Black Shark into the air?

Hi everybody, i read about the game yesterday and had to buy it after i had so much fun many years ago with one of the first MS Flight Simulators. However, flying this thing is harder than, uhm, making my girlfriend happy :D The Training is interesting to watch with some beer and time, but not useful to learn how to fly. So what i am looking for is something like that guide: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2626185/STICKY_Tutorial_How_to_take_of.html but with Keyboard Commands in it. I mean, in the end the guide is like the training it says what to do, but not how to do it, what is not that helpful to me. Ok, long story, short question: Is there a guide, video, whatever which tells me how to get off with the according keyboard commands inside it? And the second question is, if there are some not to expensive flight sticks/joysticks you can recommend? Thanks in Advance Sven
