  1. I am having what appears to be a networking issue. The server is running on a Win11 2h22 box, and DCS is allowed via the FW. Any help would be appreciated. This occurs regardless if the Windows Defender FW is enbled or not. 2023-06-27 18:43:59.870 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): server has started 2023-06-27 18:43:59.871 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): Using LEDBAT for UDP congestion control. 2023-06-27 18:43:59.917 ERROR ASYNCNET (Main): AddPortMapping(10308, 10308, 192.168.7.66, TCP) failed with code 718 (ConflictInMappingEntry) 2023-06-27 18:43:59.940 ERROR ASYNCNET (Main): GetSpecificPortMappingEntry(10308, TCP) failed with code -3 (UnknownError) 2023-06-27 18:43:59.940 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): TCP external 135.180.102.129:10308 is redirected to internal @ЊС╬:╬ 2023-06-27 18:44:00.039 ERROR ASYNCNET (Main): AddPortMapping(10308, 10308, 192.168.7.66, TCP) failed with code 718 (ConflictInMappingEntry) 2023-06-27 18:44:00.059 ERROR ASYNCNET (Main): GetSpecificPortMappingEntry(10308, TCP) failed with code -3 (UnknownError) 2023-06-27 18:44:00.059 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): TCP external 135.180.102.129:10308 is redirected to internal PЯ■╬:╬ 2023-06-27 18:44:00.059 ERROR ASYNCNET (Main): UPNP failed to map server port 10308 2023-06-27 18:44:00.059 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): Successfully set up Dual-Stack socket, using both IPv4 and IPv6 2023-06-27 18:44:00.060 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): Listen to IPv6 on port 10308 2023-06-27 18:44:00.061 WARNING ASYNCNET (Main): removed unsupported mission file from the list: C:\Users\caleb\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta_server\Missions\liberation_nextturn.miz 2023-06-27 18:44:00.136 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): server has stopped
  2. I run both liberation and a dedicated server on a second machine. I wanted to move my custom weapon loadouts from my main PC to the dedicated server. It took a bit of sleuthing, but is quite easy. Main machine: Browse to C:\Users\%username%\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\MissionEditor\UnitPayloads Copy these files to the dedicated server PC. I zipped and moved via c$, but you could email then, sneakernet, whatever. Dedicated server machine: Place the files to the same path as defined under "DCS saved game directory" in Liberation. In my case: C:\Users\%username%\Saved Games\DCS\MissionEditor\UnitPayloads Now when you define loadouts in Liberation on the dedicated server box, you have your custom loadouts available
  3. None on my mobo, StarTech is running latest and greatest. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550-AORUS-ELITE-rev-10/sp#sp HP finally sent a new cable, seems better, though I've had 1 audio drop.
  4. No betas on either at the moment.

  6. Hi all, I'm having an issue with my HP Reverb G2 and DCS. Randomly, the VR output will freeze, the volume indicator will appear, followed by the maroon DCS: waiting window. Sometimes, it will recover and I can continue flying. Other times, DCS freezes up completely and I have to end the task in task manager. I am wondering if this is the dreaded HP Reverb G2 nightmare, or if it is related to DCS. My Reverb G2 is plugged into an addon card, StarTech.com 2-Port 10Gbps USB-A & USB-C PCIe Card - USB 3.1 Gen 2 PCI Express Type C/A Host Controller Card Adapter - USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 PCIe Expansion Add-On Card - Windows, macOS, Linux (PEXUSB311AC3). My BIOS and Windows and Vid drivers are all up to date. The Reverb has been firmware patched to resolve the volume issue. Looking at my DCS log, I see the following right before the crash. 2021-07-03 03:01:51.312 INFO DCS: Device unplugged: \\?\USB#VID_03F0&PID_0580#8CC104Z4FR#{a5dcbf10-6530-11d2-901f-00c04fb951ed} Using USB Device Tree, I can see that this device is listed as 'HP Quanta QHMD A85V' with the following details: =========================== USB Port3 =========================== Connection Status : 0x01 (Device is connected) Port Chain : 1-4-3 ========================== Summary ========================= Vendor ID : 0x03F0 (HP Inc.) 7. Hello, I bought Syria for a friend, but meant to buy the Persian Gulf. Order #1251959. Can this either be refunded so I can get the right one, or swapped? Thanks.
  8. Radio recording on permission to taxi describes right on alpha, left on echo, which is in conflict with mission briefing doc, and does not appear to work.
  9. Is there somewhere I can read up on what the ATC expectations are after takeoff? In the first mission, I'm able to secure a start-up approval, go through the start up, secure a taxi approval, secure a take-off approval, but once I'm in the air less than 20 seconds, I am dinged on an ATC violation and fail the mission. Thanks Edit, video link:
  10. As the title states, when calling into Sirri Island ATC, it responds as Krymsk. Videos linked. Also, there is a mismatch on the spelling. The island appears to be labeled "Siri", and the airbase is labelled "Sirri". I tried "Hey Siri, repair and refuel", but that didn't work either.
  11. Yes, the BIOS flash cleared all the issues, but I can't point to exactly what it updated. They did reference PCIe and Memory profiles
  12. I am quite sure this is related to my specific networking, but I'm hoping someone else has run into and solved this issue. When I host a multiplayer game, then a friend joins by IP, if the game is paused for even a second, the friend is disconnected from the server. If we reverse roles and he hosts the exact same mission, we can pause for several minutes, the resume with no disconnects on my side. My setup is an Amazon Eero. I am hard wired into an 8 port switch connected to the main Eero. My desktop has a static internal IP and port 10308 tcp/udp is port forwarded to that IP. I've got a 1gb fiber connection fwiw. We're using discord for voice, so I've not bothered to port forward any other ports related to DCS. Is there a keep-alive port we need also? Thanks
  13. Our group has noticed this consistently random behavior in MP missions flying the F18. The symptoms are as follows. Load MP mission, occupy client F18 (usually hot), take off from either runway or carrier, affected client will start pulling up uncontrollably. You cannot trim it out. The solution is just to restart the MP mission and go again. I've attached two Mp tracks from last night. I have a subsequent 3rd successful track, but it is over 10mb. server-20210210-184408.trk server-20210210-185023.trk
  14. Update: we've flashed the bios on the MSI Bazooka B450m Max Wifi and so far we're stable. It had been Version 7C87v10 (release) and we bumped to the latest non beta, 7C87v14. I'll update with any further developments in case it is ever helpful to another player. For the record, you guys are the most responsive game support I've ever encountered, thank you.
  15. I'll get another TRK and video with no statics, same issue. I can also use statics to fill the front spawn points and force the E2D to the stern, which then has them use the rear cats successfully.
  16. New card, still crashing =/ We sent our friend a 2060 Super which we swapped in for the 1080ti. We then updated to the latest NVidia drivers and got the following crashes. dcs.log-20210205-214428.zip dcs.log-20210205-214025.zip dcs.log-20210205-203402.zip
  17. But we can't control where player planes get loaded on the super carrier. In a MP mission, the F14 spot gets populated by a player entity, and the E2D gets so close you can't maneuver around it. Edit: Also we cannot dictate that the E2D spawn and use the rear cats (that I know of)
  18. I've seen this most in MP mission when myself and another player spawn on the deck at the same time as an AI E2D is supposed to launch and provide AWACs. I've recreated it here using a static deck object (F14) as the second player. If I can snag a clean MP track I will. Silly_E2D.trk
  19. No overclocks, and we re-seated everything to ensure good connections. The crashes occur at random time-points, no pattern that I've been able to identify. That was our next test, but it's a PITA as he is in TX and I'm in CA. I'm sending him a 2060 to try. We bought the 1080ti used, so likely the previous owner cooked it =/ Another grrrr created by the scalpers soaking up every GPU on the market.
  20. Thanks Flappie. I used the DDU to strip the current drivers and gave the set you referenced a shot, still crashing sadly. I also run the DCS repair utility, and renamed the C:\Users\yournamehere\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta to .old, and let it recreate that folder, still crashes. The crashes occur at random intervals, and are still sometimes hard crashes (system lock) and other times soft crashes which allow logs to be automagically uploaded. I did peruse the Windows Event viewer, and have added a few concurrent events that may be instructive. I also disabled the XBox Game Bar, which Microsoft has moved to Settings, XBox Game Bar, and are no longer able to be uninstalled without using PowerShell (grrr). 21. Hello, I've built a PC for friend so we can fly together. Unfortunately, the game keeps crashing. I think I've collected all the appropriate logs. Any help/guidance would be very much appreciated. Sometimes the game "soft crashes" and we're able to upload the logs. At other times the PC hard locks and all we can do is power cycle. Thanks in advance, Q dcs.20210126-022300.crash dcs.20210126-022300.dmp dcs.20210126-022300.trk dcs.log debrief.log DxDiag.txt
  22. I've found it easiest to click on the "stack" multiple times until I get the unit I want. This is especially useful on the carrier. I too share your frustration with the mission editor overall.
  23. Is your anti-skid enabled? If you took off from a carrier, it might be disabled.
  24. Harriers instructed to takeoff from Ramat David slam into buildings at the end of the primary runway. I've attached a track with the issue occurring. On the plus side, once two harriers have "cleared the path", subsequent Harriers have no problem! Dumb_Harriers.trk
