Ok, I have started to build my key binds for the F-86SABRE. I make a change save it under Throttle or Joystick then test it out. I am keeping each configuration separate from the other planes. I wonder if there is a software that could make this more efficient...Hmmm

I will be putting a lot of time and money into This in particular flight simulator. randomTOTEN Thank you for that information I will be sure to do that on my next flight. And thank you PhoenixRising I am clearing my entire mapping before I start a new plane but sometimes when you select Clear all it only does it if your cursor is in the first block of the device selected. I found when I did Clear all in the past it left behind bindings. Oh well live and learn. I am happy to be apart of this group and thank you once again for your replies. I have been getting minimal responses to my posts. I currently have the P47D Thunderbolt and the P51-D Mustang both bought out of Steam. These planes can not fly each scenario I pick the plane starts to shake and become unrecoverable. I am an old school pilot and know how to baby these planes! Is there a problem with this game? or is it on it's last legs? I do not want to invest more money if it is the later. Thank you for your response.

Anyone know if anyone is selling one at MSRP? Seeing the prices are still high since MSFS release. JESUS the Christmas light bar at the top of this page just scared the $hit out of me!! My volume was cranked and the mouse moved over them!! I thought someone was breaking into my house!!

OMG I figured it out. It was the Tail Lock was not engaged! We are up and running on the P47D

Hello folks, I have purchased the NON Steam version of the P47D. I am using the Thrustmeter T.10000 Joystick and throttle. At the first menu screen I CLEAR all key binds to both peripherals and start from scratch. Even with minimal key binds attached when I do a cold dark start and the plane is started and ready once I throttle up it always turns LEFT HARD! Any help would be greatly appreciated

I was looking at the P-47D-30 Thunderbolt on the website and noticed it said not for Steam version. So with my I.T. brain wondered why there had to be a different version. i downloaded the free DCS from the web site and started using it without Steam and it seemed to be much cleaner and more responsive running it without the Steam interface. You probably could buy the plane on Steam I did not check. Sorry for not explaining more detail.

Hello, I have been into flight simulators since the early days. I am a 60 year old retired CIO. I have been into PC games since Zork :). I had a quick question I own the Steam version of DCS but notice some aircraft will not work under that version. Should I scrap the steam version and just download the DCS version directly. Thank you for this forum. It will be nice to get back into a great flight sim while I have so much free time.
