  1. It seems that AMD 7950X3D + AMD RX 7900XTX making more FPS in Microsoft Flightsim than AMD 7950X3D + Nvidia RTX 4090 in this spezial CPU-GPU comparison-benchmark (PC Games Hardware 05/23). So probably RX 7900XTX is the much more better choice for DCS World too???

  4. No, i can´t test this rams until i have the rest of that rig, sry.
  5. These seem the fastest modules at the moment in this size and this dual ranks are much better for the p1-fps which making VR more happy. We will see in future... Source: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?283666-Figuring-out-G-Skill-s-SNs The first two digits stand for the memory type, DDR3 (03) or DDR4 (04). The meaning of 'L' instead of '0' is unknown. The next three digits probably indicate the JEDEC spec (133 = DDR3-1333, 160 = DDR3-1600, 213 = DDR4-2133, 240 = DDR4-2400, 266 = DDR4-2666). The meaning of the 6th digit is unknown at this point. The 7th digit indicates IC density (4 = 4Gbit, 8 = 8Gbit, S = 16Gbit) and the 8th digit might indicate organization (usually 8 = x8 or 4 = x4). The 9th digit indicates the IC manufacturer (1 = Samsung, 2 = Hynix, 3 = Micron/SpecTek, 4 = Powerchip Semiconductor Corp.) and the 11th digit indicates the die revision (B = B-die etc.). The meaning of the 10 digit is still unknown. Thank you to Mickulty for the first info about the new system. Since the release of DDR5 in 2021 G.Skill is using an adapted version of the one above: Samsung: DDR5: 0M48AXS810B = Samsung 16Gb B-die 0M48KRS810B = Samsung 16Gb B-die 0R48AXS810B = Samsung 16Gb B-die Hynix DDR5: 0R48KXS820M = Hynix 16Gb M-die 0T56KXS820A = Hynix 16Gb A-die
  6. I´m very slowly building a new rig too with waiting for Zen 4 with V-cache and bought this ram some days ago for a good price with Hynix A-Die: Trident Z5 Neo DDR5-6000 CL30-40-40-96 1.40V 64GB (2x32GB) AMD EXPO G.Skill F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5N Date of Manufacture 2022/11/24 Hynix A-Die seems much better in overclocking than the good M-Dies what i have found out so far. Code Number: 0R56KXS820A (which you can see on the backside sticker of the module that can be seen through a window in package of ram - so no need to open) That 20A at the end of this codenumber means "2" for Hynix and "A" for A-Die. What i have read is that all newer G.Skill rams will have this better A-Dies.
  7. Ah, ok guys! Thats it! No Open Beta installed... Can be closed. Thank you all! Regards Terrorvogel
  8. Hello, i don´t get to upgrade my old A-10 module and don´t see any "upgrade" button in module manager (DCS 2.5.6.52437). Am i blind, stupid or both??? Does this happen automatically sometime when released? Bought the the 9,99$ offer. Regards Terrorvogel
  9. This is my opinion too! I´m not sure if still alive at least (due to my age and current virus thingy) when DCS will be finally really playable in VR. This Module "tactics" reminding me a little bit too of Star Citizen. Making many new modules instead of fixing loooong promised nessecary basics. I´m only buying again new modules in future when very old promlems were solved. Thats all i have to say.
  10. DCS: AH-64 Apache will make ED really rich because of the most wanted module... It could be so simple...
  11. So ED should not promise performance optimizations of 50% instead of losing 50%...thats all i have to say about...
  12. Absolut same here. I have stopped playing DCS-World due to this big "issue" or downgrade with my Oculus Rift. I´m not willing to buy any new module till at least old performance got back... Stop building more and more new planes and do the promised things as said! P.S. Tried all the known stuff like, deleting folders, reinstall older drivers, ASW on/off/auto, lowest ingame settings etc. DCS is unplayable for me at the moment with VR so not spending any money till it is working again...
  13. I love this device... Great work! Hope can be bought/built sometime...
  14. Last year i made an additional desktop icon for VR with "P:\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR. When starting with the standard icon i can play with only my monitor as usual. If starting with the created VR-icon the Oculus HMD stays black but you can still see the little VR-resolution-screen on the monitor so DCS World is running but not displayed in the Oculus. But when starting Oculus Home and then DCS directly out of Oculus Home or with the additional created VR-icon, everything is shown again inside the Oculus HMD. But i don´t want to run Oculus software in the background because of resources...
  15. No i´m not using this trick anymore. Good to know that it´s not working again. I haven´t played DCS for a longer time and now suddenly i can´t run it with Oculus (only black screen inside HMD). The only thing that changed in the system since last play was the automatic update of Oculus Home. Now i can only start DCS with Oculus Home in background, which is really annoying and not good for the performance too. Hope there will be a solution...
  16. Same issue here. Only blackscreen in my headset since Oculus update. I dont like facebook...
  17. Hi Debolestis! Could you draw me a new CMS knob for fitting with Leo Bodnar´s nice and cheap 8 way-hat-switch with pushbutton? I would need two of them. Is the colour grey also possible in plastic because i don´t like metal version? If not possible in grey i would take the white version. What would be then the price inclusive taxes and shipping to germany? Here is the Link of the used switch: http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_87&products_id=210 I hope the dimensons are clear enough at this picture, if not please ask me: https://picload.org/view/dcarldcl/_cms_knob_for_leo_bodnar_4way_.png.html Kind regards, Terrorvogel
  18. Hi guys! I´m playing around with Prosess Lasso Pro too so which cores do i have to set with my 5930k six-core cpu? HyperThreading is on so there are threads from 0-11. Would be really great if this one could make better performance with my rift:music_whistling:
  19. Thank you Sgt Baker for the detailed explanation! Hope you will find and solve theese bugs and i can´t wait for testing this nice program in (hopefully soon) future:thumbup: Regards Terrorvogel
  20. Hi, Sgt Baker! First of all, big thank you for your efforts for creating this really promising tool! Unfortunately i´m having the same issue as Sierra99, that when launching DCS, it is crashing instantly. I had deactivated all mods too, to get sure that nothing is being influenced. Is there som kind of log where to look into? Is it possible, that it has to do with my big total resolution of 13440x2160? I´m running here 3xDisplays 3840x2160 for the mainview and below 1x 1920x1080 for MFCD´s. Your nice software could save me a lot or GPU recources with my 14 touchscreens alltogether running at 4xGTX 950 (touchscreens with Helios) and one GTX980Ti (3x 4k mainscreens and 1xHD for MFCDs). Is it possible to export everything to any screen without raising the render-resolution inside DCS, which would be really overkill with my tons of screens? Kind regards, Terrorvogel
  21. Thank you very much McMicha for this alternative to Helios which is not supported any more by Gadroc:thumbup: As having performance issues (extremly slow gauges) with running Helios and Opencockpits-Hardware together controled by needed SIOC.exe, i will try this one out when having time again. Such nice pieces of software should always be welcome to the comunity:music_whistling:
  22. @Ciribob Thx thats the information i needed. Looks good so far as connection seems to work. Only need to tweak arround now. Thank you so far for your time and this nice piece of software:thumbup: @Kosmyk I already own Virtual Audio Cable (donated version):music_whistling: Did not knew that that Voicemeeter and VAC can be combined. Lets see what can be done with that combination:D. Thx for that hint!
