  1. I see this on our multi-player server where the FCR does not see any static targets even when they are in clear LOS. Last night I ran a test on a stand alone mission placing ground units behind trees and static units in clear LOS. I did this to see if the foliage had any effect. The FCR spotted all the ground units behind the trees, however it did spot a couple of the static units, 2 out of the 5. Not sure why on that mission it saw (only a few) but on multi-player sees none.
  2. The doorway to shelter 13 is too low to allow aircraft to exit. That maybe why AI are exploding.
  3. I noticed that Ramon Airbase ramp slot 13 has an error, the doorway to the aircraft bunker is too low to allow a aircraft to exit.
  4. The static weather tab and dynamic weather tab are two different systems and are not interlinked. They've added some "dynamics" to the static weather by allowing the clouds to move when the wind is set high enough. I think most people are confusing that with the dynamic weather tab. However in static weather you select the weather for the entire map and it doesn't really change as you fly across the region. In dynamic weather there needs to be a little understanding of how highs and lows interact to create weather. Depending on where you place the highs and lows changes the wind speed, direction and clouds in different parts of the map. And where the highs and lows overlap can be some really dramatic weather. However right now the dynamic weather tab does seam to be broken as I stated earlier the first system "high or low" can't really be moved or manipulated. It used to work but took some effort to get what you wanted. Some time back I created a "Shamal" on the Persian Gulf map where there was a sandstorm in the UAE while it was clear and slightly windy in Iran. I was actually realistic enough to give me a little PTSD having been through a few of them in the PG.
  5. I've set frequencies for all the warbirds on a channel map mission in the ME. When we run the mission on our server the radios don't appear to be set. When you bring up the overlay the frequencies it shows on the 4 channels are not the ones set in the ME
  6. I've notice that in trying to create weather systems in the dynamic weather tab the first cyclone is all but un-editable. You really can't move it, change its size or strength. I've played with the dynamic weather for quite some time and have even written a tutorial on it, but now it just seams broken.
  7. What I've noticed is that the first cyclone created in the new dynamic weather is almost un-editable making it mostly impossible to really create the weather patterns desired. I created a PDF tutorial with map templates a few years back using Shifty Movers youtube video and my knowledge of weather. For those interested it is out on the User Files.
  8. I've noticed that now in 2.8 the first cyclone generated can't be moved or manipulated. If you try to change the values they just revert back to the original settings. And saving the dynamic weather lua file and editing it in an editor (notepad++) has little to no effect on the first cyclone.
  9. Where are these in the updated open beta list of ground units?
  10. There's a critical step missing and that is after you reset to unlimited, save the mission and get out of ME. I got all the way out of DCS to make sure the mission was completely out of the DCS memory. When you reopen the mission it should have gotten rid of the blank lines, the missing munitions should be back and every thing says 100, but unlimited. At that point you can go back to limiting the munitions.
  11. I've gone through that exercise twice before I made the first post and it did not fix the blank lines or missing items.
  12. In the last couple of updates I still see blank lines and missing weapons and gear in the airfield warehouses of older missions. If I start a new mission the blank lines are gone and it appears that all the weapons and gear are there. Is there a fix or an update for this so I don't have to completely rebuild old missions?
  13. I just uploaded a Dynamic Weather guide with blank mission file for each map that have dynamic weather set in User Files. You should be able to use those file as templates for your missions. It's just not completely published just yet.
  14. I am still getting these errors I've downloaded the plugin and placed it in the Gimp plugin directory as the txt file indicated, I've updated the python file for show the location of the texconv.exe file
  15. I figured this one out, or actually saw a post that pointed out my error. To hear a transmission the beacon needs to be the same country as the one listening for it. I was trying to place a radio broadcast of Tokyo Rose on an island with the mission plan of knocking her off the air. So the work around is place the beacon close to the tower but out of line of sight of the forces protecting the tower.
  16. I found this to work on MP servers. I've tested it an now running it on a few missions on my groups MP server
  17. Not sure if it is a bug or not but I seam to be having trouble with 'radio transmissions' on the Marianas map in the Mossie. I just don't hear the ogg file, however the RDF can locate the signal.

  19. I have yet to get this to work on a multiplayer server. I'm trying to duplicate what Reflected Simulations showed in his Mosquito Radio and Navigation video with a nav. beacon and period radio broadcasts. I've used units, I've tried trigger zones. It all works fine in single player but won't work on multiplayer.
  20. Is there still a bug in the radio transmission in Multiplayer? I'm trying to set up a radio beacon for the Mosquito's to follow using a unit with a set frequency and an ogg file. works fine in Single Player, won't work in MP. I've tried using triggers and nothing works. I've been able to use a sound file with triggers in the past but not as a radio broadcast. I'm trying to repeat what Reflected Simulations showed in a recent Mosquito video using a navigation beacon and period radio broadcasts.
  21. Has anyone else had an issue with the Z39 mod not allowing DCS 2.7 to launch? I've tried all the other WW2 ship mods and soon as I add the Z39 DCS fails to load.
