  1. I recommend to implement damage to the refueling basket and probe by aircraft or causing aircraft damage. I know that can cause all sorts of issues with mid air refuel but it would add realism and the possibility of a basket being sucked into an intake and taking a plane down would be pretty cool and realistic.
  2. This issue is solved. I did not realize the radios were set to easy communications. I had them change to realistic radios and the issue was solved.
  3. I have had the exact same issue in multiplayer in stable version. Very easy to replicate this problem. I have been firing regardless of getting a shoot cue or not because of this issue. Hopefully this issue is fixed very soon. This is why I play stable version. I can't imagine playing open beta with even more bugs and issues. I don't have much time to fly this simulator as much as i would like to and I don't want to be dealing with even more issues with the simulator in open beta.
  4. Please send me steps to send the track file and I will send. It has been awhile and I forget. Also during case 1 recoveries the ball will disappear for a few seconds then reappear while in the groove. You will see it on the track file also.
  5. I want to clarify that that the TDC button does not need to be pressed once you lineup the cross hairs for DX/DY and roll. I was watching a spudknocker tutorial and what he did after he lined up the cross hairs for DX/DY He would push the TDC button in to lock it in and then he would lineup the roll cross hairs and once he was happy with the cross hairs he would push the TDC button to lock it ( as he describes it). Then he would push the align button. Please let me know if the TDC button has to be pushed in to lock in the cross hairs for DX/DY and then again for roll, but I don't believe it does.
  6. Thanks. I forgot I already sent this a while back on the same topic. Sorry. I just read that it is correct as is as is and they are supposed to fire off unguided. That seems unusual but OK.
  7. When jettisoning the AGM 88 harms they do not drop and free fall. They fire off the pylons straight away.

When in the 162nd multiplayer pve server Caucasus version 2 for stable server while flying the f18 hornet and calling inbound or the 10 mile see you at 10 the auxiliary radio will go to "M" or manual. Not sure if this is an issue with the server or a dcs bug. Very easy to re-create the problem. Also the ball will disappear then re-appear while in the groove. Also not sure if that is a server problem or dcs problem.
  9. Thanks for the reply. I am on the same page/understanding with you on all the topics you brought up. I believe my pod was not looking where it needed. I did a practice run with a jtac through a single player mission and it worked great. I've done that mission quite a few times to get comfortable with putting mgrs coordinates in and following proper nine line protocall. I just wasn't staying patient to think that I could have used my hmd to target the convoy and get my atflir looking in the correct location or even get coordinates from the f10 map. I want to be clear on one subject. If I just put the laser code on the lgbs only and fuse them and drop them through ccip mode as an example you are saying that they will track the laser from my wingmans laser and I can have the pod off and the lst switch off as well( as long as my laser code and his laser code match). Correct? That makes sense to me.
  10. That missile came off his rail over 12 miles away. I thought the R-27ET was a semi active radar. Ok thanks for the heads up. I'm surprised that missile can lock on over 12 miles away being and ir guided missile. I used tacview to get this info. Fyi
  11. This has happened a couple of times on the multiplayer 162nd vipers server. An enemy AI will launch a semi active or active radar guided missile and my rwr high frequency tone will never go into high frequency. I will get a slow tone and the aircraft in the lethal portion of the rwr know I am spiked. My last issue was yesterday. I found through tacview that a j-11 launched a r-27 et semi active radar guided missile at about 12 mi away. I only had a slow tone on the rwr. The rwr should have went into high frequency fast tone letting me know that he has me in single target track. I think this is a bug issue. Please correct me if I am wrong and tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks.
  12. I was not able to get my aircraft to see my wingmans laser target designation. Laser code set to 1688 for both aircraft. A/g master mode to on and air to ground mode selected, set both bombs to code 1688, lst set to on and osb button pushed on atflir ddi to search for laser. I was using the atflir. Not sure what pod he was using but I don't believe it should matter. The only thing I can think of is I forgot to get the mode into snowplow and accidentally had it in vvslv mode. The jtac mission module I have no issues with for laser guided mavE version. I thought maybe because I don't have combined arms. Or more possibly I never had the targeting pod looking close to where he had the laser target designation.
  13. I have had to jettison the agm 88 harms twice in the air. Both times they will fire straight off instead of just free falling. I set my jettison to stores and push the jettison button. My stations are selected correctly.
  14. It looks like my issue was just related to that one day. My srs worked just fine yesterday. I am not sure what the issue was but it was down for multiple users.
  15. Maximov it looks like I figured out the issue with the game crash. In the Nvidia control panel in the "adjust image settings with preview" the setting was at "use the advanced 3D image settings." I changed that to " let the 3D application decide." Through all the tutorials I have went through on YouTube it is recommended to have DCS or the application control everything and that's why I did this. This was the only setting I changed and the crash stopped. Please if you have any other changes you would like me to make in the Nvidia control panel to allow this simulator to run smoother/efficient let me know. I have done multiple supercarrier persion gulf case 1 recoveries now without a crash and multiplayer servers are working well also. I hope this helps others out. Also FYI i have pretty much everything as application controlled in the " manage 3D settings." If you guys could set up a nice tutorial on the proper settings that would be great. I have used spudknockers recommendations through one of his YouTube tutorials but I would think Eagle Dynamics would be able to put together a similar tutorial that could help out a lot.
  16. I am having the same issue. The radio will go white in the overlay but I cannot receive anyone. People can hear me and I am transmitting fine but I cannot hear anyone. It's not working for my oculus quest 2 or the corsair headphones and it was working g perfectly fine. I don't believe I made any changes.
  17. Here is the latest crash which happened on the supercarrier case 1 recovery mission again. I am now trying a few fixes from the geek page labeled "DXGI ERROR DEVICE REMOVED." I want to make sure from you guys that the same issue is happening through the log. I have already performed fix 2 and fix 3 with no luck( google geek page DXGI ERROR DEVICE REMOVED and the page will pop right up). Please let me know what you think of these fixes suggested by the geek gage. Also I start the game with the 4 vs 4 mission aim 7 nevada mission and it plays great in vr. I played thee mission 3 or 4 times then i go into this supercarrier mission and i flew a liitle longer this time all the way into the groove then it crashed. If you guys want anymore info let me know. It consistantly crashes on this mission. I was thinking of also doing the page file trick and changing to 32768 min/ 32768 max but I dont think this is a memory issue.   18. dcs.log-20220224-020242.zip here is another crash report using the Oculus quest 2. Let me know if I can try something else. Maybe uninstall DCS and reinstall. I am just shooting in the dark right now
  19. I have a similar issue but my headset will freeze and when I take the headset off it shows on the monitor that dcs has crashed. I have tried the page file trick, changed settings, performed a clean install for the nvidia graphics driver, performed a dcs repair, I have no mods, I run the stable version. This is really dissapointing. I'm not sure what to do. I've sent tons of reports over to the eagle dynamics team and I think they have no answers. My issues started right after the Christmas 2021 update. Some missions work fine and others don't. The Persian Gulf supercarrier case 1 recovery will crash every time I play it but other missions work fine.
  20. I flew in the Caucasus in multiplayer. It crashed as well about a half hour into the game. I have had multiple crashes today. You should see the reports I have sent in. There are multiple reports.
  21. I have been using the supercarrier case 1 recovery mission for the caucasus map and it has been working fine. So maybe there is an issue with the Persian Gulf map supercarrier missions with the oculus quest 2. The simulator works great with 4 vs 4 aim 7 mission in nevada as well with the oculus quest 2. Also I can play the persian gulf super carrier case 1 in track IR and it plays fine. I have been troubleshooting all day today with this issue to give you guys as much info as possible. Also I have been successfully sending crash reports to you guys right after the crash happens. I am not sure if your getting them though
