Someone else having shadows problems with DLSS enabled (Quality?). It is the ground shadows. They are accurate, each object creates a shadow. But if I roll, the whole landscape gets covered in a giant shadow, as if an object is in front of the sun.

How do I disable ASW for Virtual Desktop?

Can you share your Oculus Tray Tool, Oculus Debug Tool and Virtual Desktop Settings? I get it running smoothly with WiFi now, but it looks like a mess. And what is your WiFi-infrastructure?

Hey guys, is there a way to play wireless with the Q3 at Max Quality as smooth (constant 72 fps)? if it was wired If I have to buy a WiFI-6 or WiFi 6E-Router, so be it. But if it does not possible, I will stick with my Amplifi HD Setup (PC connected via Ethernet to WiFi 5 Amplifi HD router configured as an Access Point Quest 3 2 meters from station). AirLink reports 833 Mbps connection speed, but I do not use AirLink (other than for measuring the conneciton speed), but Virtual Desktop.

Hey guys, I got myself a Q3 and I want to play DCS in VR wireless. For some reasons, the Q3 will not work with AirLink properly, I already had this problem with my Q2, it is stuttering and laggy as hell, you cannot even operate it properly, it is in the 1 frame per second area. The WiFi-Connection is fine which is why Virtual Desktop is very smooth. So without AirLink and only Virtual Desktop available for the wireless operation of my Q3, how do I start up DCS in Virtual Desktop so that it actually runs in VR? I tested it with the Questlink USB-C cable it worked fine. If I start it via Virtual Desktop with the "Start via Oculus" Option, DCS starts, but it is not in VR in the headset; also does not react to headset movements etc. It looks like the PC monitor looks when I start it in VR and not like it looks in the VR headset when I start it in VR. Edit: it works now, I just startet the game via the "Launch Game" option in Virtual Desktop.

Hey guys, since this is over a year old and I am intending to upgrade from a 5900X, what is currently the best CPU for DCS? GPU is a 4090. Is it a 7900/7950X3D or Intel's top dog? Should I wait for the 14 series of Intel? Generally, I prefer Intel for my next rig, since AMD did not convince me platform wise (crappy USB implementation, even now after all these updates to the USB my G2 is not totally perfect and I have crackling from my USB-C Audio Interface which I use as a soundcard). However, if the X3D-CPUs are significantly faster, I would go with AMD another time.

Does nobody have an idea? I cannot complete the last mission of the campaign ("Offensive Counter-Air") without the help of a wingman. I am alone and there are 4 migs, almost no AA weaponry on my plane but MK84.

Hey guys, why does my wingman not start from the carrier in campaign missions? Sometimes he does, but I have no control over it. I try to give commands (yes, right frequency) that would require him to start in order to comply, but that does not help either. Sometimes he starts as soon as I approach the carrier to land after I almost had my <profanity> ruined during missions due to his lack of support or even presence.

Okay, I have the Steam Edition. Is there a list that shows for each DLC which Maps I need?

Hey guys, I want to buy all campaigns of the F18. But I have no maps other than the Caucasus Map that belongs to the game and the Supercarrier pack (and ofc the F-18). Can I play all F18 campaigns?
