  1. After the update, my pitch control is terrible for A2A refueling. The elevator seems to be very jerky causing huge pilot induced oscillations when trying to plug the basket. I was fairly decent at getting gas before the update, now it is downright frustrating. This is on the canned mission for CASE 1 landings and hitting the S3 at 300 kts and 15,000’. I used to have curves set at 25, now it takes at least 50 for the pitch just to get it smooth enough to have a chance. Anyone else?
  2. I've made those changes, also upgraded to the Oculus cable which tests slightly better at 1.6 gb/s vs 1.3 that I got with the other cable. Pauses seem to be better but not completely gone. The visuals are still pretty crappy though. I'd really like to be able to read the cockpit without zooming and the outside visuals need some improvement too. Frames in MP are still around 45 and around 90 in SP.
  3. Thanks... I'll give those a try. I'm using a cable, it tests well on the Oculus App.
  4. I’ve spent over a month trying to dial in my O3. I get really long game pauses in MP and visuals are cartoonish at best. Game pauses typically happen when there are more objects present or things happening, I.e. near the carrier group or after takeoff from an airport but not typically when attacking targets. The good news is that frame rates are 90 in single player and 45 in MP. PC is i7-12700, RTX 4070 ti 12 gb, 64 GB DDR 4. I’m on a 1 gig via Ethernet internet connection. I really appreciate any wisdom from the masses!
  5. Thanks for the tip Pete! For some reason I was in game mode. Deselected that and now the A/P works like a champ. The jet flies much better as well, I was having an issue getting it to trim out for on speed after the break, now it's working much better. Maybe I can even plug a tanker now? We'll see.
  6. Have not tried that, I’ll give it a shot. I would think though that the a/p wouldn’t engage in the first place if it sensed stick movement. We’’ll see what I can find.
  7. I've got a similar issue going on except that the A/P appears to be engaging, the colon lights up on the HDG and BARO buttons but it doesn't appear to be actually doing anything, the jet will continue to climb or descend, won't turn to the selected heading and eventually the A/P will kick off and give the wheep wheep warning. I've also tried not selecting the a/p until the jet is in level flight but that doesn't seem to work either. I don't think it's a dead zone issue since I've got some set already and the buttons are showing that the a/p is engaged. What am I missing?
  8. Using a lot of game cheats, I made it to mission 25. For some reason though I keep losing power on the take-off roll. I'm able to get up to a little over 100 kts and lift off, wheels up but then power starts to bleed off and the airplane settles down. I notice what looks like wing tip vortices and possibly water vapor coming from the exhaust under the airplane so I'm wondering if there is some sort of engine damage being modeled? I've double checked my start-up sequence, air intakes are set forward, coolant selectors are auto. I even tried doing the take off with less than full power keeping the manifold pressure in the green. Ideas?
