I have searched and read almost everything now that I am (trying) to get back into DCS. I see I was not the only one use the Jack Bauer X-52 profile and lots of people found it to be the most useful profile. To be sure, no one has translated it into the new lua setup for DCS World? I'm getting okay at radar, shooting down planes, etc. But when I do a quick start mission, it seems that my Master Arm switch is not allowing me to shoot missiles. Is this true? What is the key binding (buttons)?

What arty do they use? What about the ATG question? What websites can I go to find out details like this rather just dumb news.

Without political comments, when I read of Israeli shelling, what is this? ATG or lobbing bomb/rockets? What weapons does Israel use for shelling? Also, what planes do the ATG work for Israel? Are they only F-16s?

Can someone post their x-52 (regular) profile? i read about adjusting collective, etc. but cant seem to get it right. any profiles and adjustments that work well are welcome. ive been trying for a few days but cant seem to get it.

Correct. Its black lettering on a gray box, almost like it is unchangeable - which it appears to be. Almost locked.

I am playing the great Jackal campaign, but would like to start on runway. However, when I enter the mission editor, it seems my A icon is locked to have a cold start. Can I somehow change this to Runway?

Hi all. I have A-10 module and World. How can I setup a simple dogfight, say A-10 vs Su-25, 1 on 1? Do I have to use the mission editor? It scares me. I can never get it right.

i have an "enable clutch mode" already checked, and i have a "latched clutch button" that is unchecked. which ones need a check? and just to learn, what the heck is a controller clutch?

Ok Great. So I have a brand new install I know this sounds dumb, but exactly how do get them working. they look like lua files, so I take it that I dont load anything in the X52 profiler in windows, enter the game, go to options>controls, click a box under X52 column, then load the lua profile? Save and enter game? Anything else? Anything different?

I have a topic in Input/Output that is getting little attention, so I figured I would ask here since I have done more homework. I am just getting back in to DCS (from pre-World days). I used to load JackBauer pr0 file and JackBauer lua file in the game, and all would be good - but not so in World. I could not return the controls to default so I have already uninstalled and reinstalled World twice. So my questions is, does anyone use pre-made input profiles for World? Is everyone really making their own, with either profiler or in game? Even if I have to set up axis, it would be nice to have the buttons pre-programmed. Thanks for any help!!

Thank you. I know how to change to the axis, but I was hoping to load a pre-set profile, especially one i used years ago that I am familiar with. So, is there no simple way to retrun to default settings? Also, is no one else using other peoples profiles today? What am I doing wrong?

Well, I dont know. I reinstalled World and A-10 module. Load it up and the stick at least flies the plane. Then I download the Ragtag pr0 file to try something different. i load the profile in bottom right of windows with profiler thing, load World and the stick no longer controls the A-10. Anyone, please help!! I so want to play again.

Hi all. I am just getting back into DCS and I used to use the Jack Bauer X-52 profile with stand alone A-10C. So I got World and the A-10 module and tried to use the Jack Bauer. I selected the pr0 file in bottom right icon of windows, then tried to load lua file by selecting a box in the center column input (X-52 I think) and selected load profile to click the JackBauer lua file. It then changed the inputs of X-52, but also changed the keyboard inputs to the same inputs. That does not seem right. When I go into game, the HOTAS does nothing - not even pitch/roll. How can I fix this? I did not backup anything. I assume I need to get the default settings back in there, and then do something differently? I am open to using any other profile for A-10C in World as well. I cant wait to get flying with yall again. Thanks.

thanks. i really learn a lot from yall. it looks like the OEM will only go on 1 motherboard. however, it looks like i buy 2 or 3 oem versions for the price of 1 regular version. i think ill go with oem.

Do I go for 2x4GB or 4x2GB ? DDR 3? Is 9-9-9-24 good timing? Also, some good ram says for i5, i7, etc. Will this still work in my comp?

Hi all. I have MSI P7N Platinum motherboard with a E8400 processor. Can anyone recommend some good ram. I have 2 GB now but wanna upgrade to 4 or 8. Thanks yall. I know very little about RAM. I have not overclocked.

Currently i have XP and two GB ram. Is it true that there is a 2GB limit on Ram for XP? Can I install Windows 7 64-bit and get more ram and better performance. I was thinking about upgrading my system but maybe I just need newer Windows to get good performance. here is my specs. I think i might be ready to get on and do some damage. But I dont know how to get on MP. If I click the A-10 Multiplayer icon it brings me to screen where I see no servers or people. Is there something else I should be doing to join yall?
