I am experiencing what seem like the same issue..how are you able to get them to appear (other than transparent)?

Question. I've set up the kneeboard and while in the F-18 pit I can see two transparent rectangles one of which has my DCS kneeboard on it. I am unable through using the pen or Wacom able to bring the kneeboard into bright and focused mode consistently. I've been able to get the kneeboard to come up two times by accident and not able to replicate that consitently. What's the trick?

Same issue here with a Reverb. I've seen the "Window out of focus" reminder before but had no issues with it until recently and controls lock up. It has happened the last 3 times that I've flown. Hopefully moving the taskbar off to the right side will fix it. Annoying.

Never mind. User error. Had connector plugged into AUX and not USB:( All is well.

USB driver error so then I cannot do anything with a firmware update. Very annoyed, Joystick does not show up in joy.cpl

Gents. The F-18 has different flight modes and the FCS treats each differently. UA= Up and Away flight. FCS automatically attempts to trim to 1G PA= Powered Assist Flight (Landing Configuration) manual trim inputs are accepted.

If you have an AB detent on your stick this box needs to be unchecked.

I've used these numbers and set it up as described (Slider, User Curve, 0 - 6 - 16 - 24 - 33 - 43 - 57 - 67 - 80 - 90 - 100) on each throttle axis'. It seems to me that this custom curve has you at 100% throttle before you hit the AB detent. I thought that Mil power was 85% of the range and 100% would be AB5? I like the curve but it seems that up against the detent while flying the pattern you are barely able to maintain AoA without going into AB1 with fuel at 9.0 or higher. I'm not totally into modifying the AB detent to let you push through it. I have a #200 serial # and I've gotten used to pulling up on the handles. The only module that I fly without the detent is the A-10C.

I cranked mine up from 2.0 to 2.5 in video settings..Helped alot.

you can use Freetrack to zoom via the controls settings. just assign "trackir zoom" as "z-axis".. used this setting for years on my FT + WiiMote setup.

Correct pinky swith forward is default lights

For no complaints and major sales ED should go with DCS: F-22 Raptor but I still think it will be an F18
