  1. @currenthill thank you so much! i just got home from a grueling trip so this was perfect timing and i cant wait to test it out!!! just wanted to mention on your site the preview card for them FMTV shows the M2A3, not impacting how amazing your work is just thought you should know! thank you so much for all that you do!!
  2. Supposedly the Foundre is causing some problems for me according to some discord helpers but ill report back if it is or not
  3. Honestly, I just fly it with my T.16000 but for the majority of the flight it's on autopilot, and since its a mod it flies a little funky so a Warthog wouldn't be awful with it.
  4. oh gods no. This is the channel for the mod, hence why its labeled ""official"" but we shouldn't assume anything until we hear it from the mouths of ED
  5. from what ive been led to understand even things like the JF-17's fuel probe removal required a different flight model, so would the F-14 without its fuel probe. i could be wrong but it'd be nice if it didnt i thought that was also because more information on it was available than the KA-52, especially in 2008 when the KA-50 first released in-game mainly since it was a tech demonstrator
  6. Ik, late reply, but Id be really interested in getting the Z, not because the other models are worse but more because we have the MI-24 and KA-50 3 but just the AH-64D. also with the announcement of the CH-47, id love to see another bluefor attacker. (especially one that id say is better than the apache). that said, with the BO-105 and the kiowa, some older helos like the W or the F might not be so bad
  7. ofc my description was very TLDR but from your source "There were three YF-4Js, all of them converted from existing F-4B airframes" it also had "reduced smoke" engines, not smokeless. ofc there were airframe and engine upgrades to adapt but the biggest thing was the radar. With the N i should've included the original radar but the "Bee Line" program was to bring B's to a closer to J standard, but still had smokeless engines. and the S like i said is still just a performance upgrade of the J, yes they had the same engines but the S had a smoke abatement system which made them smokeless. (radar performance is still performance)
  8. i see i see, with the F-15 it wasnt that hack job-y but if im honest with you i havent seen much grumbling from people who want dedicate fighters. ofc i could be wrong but ive mostly seen requests for very niche aircraft
  9. i mean like who you like but he doesnt know what hes talking about when it comes too the game or irl
  10. i know what the 15 will have because i read what razbam put out. i know other planes can do what the 15 can do in its current state because i talk to people who have had access to it. i’m not buying it because razbam, mainly their CEO, treated their customers like excrement and expected us to take their half complete, mostly broken product at average preorder price. i know they’re doing the CTU upgrades because their product wasn’t ready for release and they need time that they don’t have. what you mentioned with store a and store b is exactly what i’m doing, i don’t care if people buy it but i’m going to give my thoughts to make sure no one has buyer’s remorse. and yeah sure we could do just 16. but then you loose the unique ability of all of the other planes. the 18 does anti ship the 16 has speed and ranged firepower the 10 has time on station and load out supply. the 15E? it’s a faster buggier 14B without jester. sure the ED modules are released unfinished but that is the expectation the 15s expectation has been shifted so many times you can’t trust what comes out of razbams public affairs department. so if you wanna go and fly out your budget tomcat absolutely be my guest, but when you cant pick out targets with your lantern tgp at angles 15+ orbiting the target area like the plane was intended to operate i dont want to hear a peep of complaint out of your "f-15's used fox twos to kill 29's in Yugoslavia" headass
  11. https://theaviationgeekclub.com/f-15-vs-mig-29-the-493rd-fs-mig-kills-scored-during-operation-allied-force/amp/ same as before. no mention of aim-9 sidewinders. all kills in f-15C’s. as for your video the calls heard from AWACS were for “threat” meaning new contact. that missile was launched within launch parameters and you can see the explosion in the gun cam meaning it was well within five miles at the time of launch. you again give no source with valid numbers and as for the “israeli war” israel does not use older aim 9’s. they were given x’s but use their own missiles. you can not actually prove any of your claims @Kemplejais right you need to stop
  12. so three things to start. the amraam fired from head on at 60 miles will travel less than sixty miles unless the target turns cold. i’ve easily achieved 60 mile shots on targets with the F-16 at less than m 1.4 below 45000. secondly. the F-15E has a much better radar than the F-14D let alone the F-14B which is what it would be fighting in game. your claim that the F-14 can achieve 100nm kills is hysterical and ill informed. if the F-15E loaded for CAP engaged with an F-14B in game as i understand it now the F-15 would be victorious every time. the F-15E can easily climb above 53k in CAP load has better ECM better radar and a much more competent missile. aim-54’s go stupid so easily and are extremely easy to crank and avoid.
  13. so the airframe you’re getting from the F-15E is not at all complete, not what was promised, and has been delayed more times than i can count. compare that to the mirage F1. you get two variants with at least four planned and clear expectations and communication from the dev team with the added bonus of miles. don’t get me wrong i can’t and refuse to tell you how to spend your money, but the value you see isn’t really there especially when you realize there’s nothing this plane can do in game that can’t be done with something else.
  14. i think it’s less a money thing than a customer experience type of thing. you’re right, companies don’t have to opt into the miles program, but the way i understand it there is no revenue loss too the third-party, only to ED and the program itself is a thank you to those of us who fly in dcs. secondly @Gorn_GER isn’t whining. they clearly stated that this wasn’t an issue for them. but they bring up a very valid point. if you have a loyal customer who happens to be tight on cash or has to worry about where their spends go then that customer is more than within their rights to ask about that program. i haven’t seen anyone in this thread complain about it, just asking questions and clarifying confusions. but it’s not the best look from a company that (again to my knowledge) wouldn’t be loosing revenue and has projects being funded by governments (working with the ecuadorian govt to develop the A-29) to look at the customer and say “we messed up the release of this project more than five times and complained when the work we presented to ED did not meet their standards so we had to delay even longer. so now you, the consumer aren’t getting what was promised for release and you don’t get a reward for still being a loyal customer”
