  1. Yes, and the pilot and CPG can both also use the cursor display select button on the collective mission grip
  2. There is also a button for it on the TEDAC and the Collective. In the controls section, look for 'cursor display select'
  3. Dear DCS, Where can I find the texture files for the pilot body that is now visible inside the cockpit (F1 view)? Kind regards, Houseman
  4. Dear DCS, Loving the Apache, great job! I would like however, to be able to lower the sun visor on the helmet. This is especially useful when wanting to use the TADS through the HDU during the day. The helmet visor then allows for a darker background, making it easier to see the TADS image on the HDU. Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Jeroen
  5. 1) the lock on option (IAT) is not modelled yet in this release. 2) the fire and forget is the L with the FCR. Also not yet part of this release. See the FAQ for the roadmap on further implementations during EA
  6. The screen shot you attached shows that you are not lasing and have AQC as fixed. You need to continuously press the laser trigger to second detent for a LOBL shot, or lase and store the target, AQC the target and then it will allow you to shoot LOAL, after which you need to lase pretty quickly already at little over 4km.
  7. That is actually how it is in the real thing. No roll or pitch compensation. It is the LOS reticle (the crosshair) in relation to the horizon marking (in transition and cruise mode symbology) that tells you your attitude.
  8. Having the visual representation of 1 or 2 guys on the EFAB sounds like something that could be added with a mod like the one that was just released for the Huey. Not sure who created that, but the images I saw looked awesome.
  9. Short answer is, no. Right bottom MPD bezel button on the Flight page, TSD, Weapon and FCR page allow you to select the AQC.
  10. Using the PNVS in daylight is obviously not what it is meant for. I know some that use the TADS for targeting on their HMD during the day, but they then often lower their sun visor.
  11. Reference in the cockpit is mainly based on how it is displayed on your systems as to not create any fuzz. The MPD, TEDAC and HDU all show TADS as reference to the MTADS and therefor TADS is mainly used, since it is also shorter. But this is my experience, maybe different branches use different terminology. Not that any of this actually matters....
  12. The wiper... please do not simulate how bad the wiper works in real life
  13. Rural Afghan with zero moon is basically the bag... If you want to simulate it, you could set time to night and add some fog if the area you want to fly has to many urban lights. Using the bag in theatre is obviously not realistic.
  14. Please do not assume that I am anything close to an expert on the soaring Panda...
