  1. Some of the impatience in this thread is baffling, did any of you stop to possibly think that a possible delay would be due to the COVID-19 pandemic? ED devs are people too, and just because there isn't news coming out of Russia about COVID doesn't mean they haven't been hit with it.
  2. Utility will not run for me anymore. Loading screen comes up for me, then disappears. When I go to the hidden icons tray on the bottom right, as soon as my mouse goes over it the icon disappears.
  3. In '07 they were back doing shows within 3 weeks. Really hits hard when this happens. If you pray, keep his family and the Blues in your prayers. If not, at least have a good thought for them.
  4. Back when the original DCS clients were released before the updater was a "thing", torrenting the update or new base version actually was most times faster than the update from the ED servers themselves. If you don't like the idea of "hidden update torrents", you probably should skip Windows 10 and a lot of other MMO type games which use it a lot.
  5. Twin Mustang pr0n With the external gun pod, they had 14(!) .50 cals on-board. There will be one of these flying in the not too distant future here in the US.
  6. I am getting a black screen starting the sim. Both the GUI and the Multiplayer Client. When starting the Single Player mode, I can hear music, however, nothing but a black screen. I have attempted both the Open Beta install and current build, and the same thing happens. The only change recently on my system was going to a GTX 970 from a GTX 760, with updated drivers. Have attempted the repair function and still having issues. Have also tried rolling back drivers and is not working. A system restore did not work. All C++ redistros are updated as well as DirectX. I have reinstalled DCS and also deleted the saved games folders. Specs: i7-4790K, 16 GB Ram, GTX 970 Superclocked w/4GB VRAM. Win7 64bit.
  7. Century series iron! (Must turn speakers up to full)
  8. It's hard to believe, but this is the 10th year for VFAT! This year's dates will be November 21st-23rd. The registration thread is now open and those with teams/demonstrations are encouraged to register as soon as possible! http://bit.ly/1laYiKi
  9. Some images from Oshkosh a week or so ago:
  10. Possibly, but not likely.
  11. Yes, the mission we'll have up tonight will have plenty of slots. Last night's server was just a test.
  12. My bad! Thanks for pointing that out Tigercat! Post fixed.
  13. The Virtual Blue Angels will be hosting a fly-in to celebrate the release of the iconic F-86, this Saturday night (7/26) at 2000 CDT (This works out to be 0100 GMT 7/27). Feel free to stop by our Teamspeak (simply enter virtualblueangels.com into your TS3 address bar, default port) and come fly with us! Other aircraft will be available to fly, but we'd really love to see as many Sabres in the air as possible!
