  1. I have asked in the big Newsletter what the current status is. The answer was: "have no news to share at the moment. We have other tasks with higher priority currently " So, it is just planned but sadly not in the work at the moment

  3. I m hoping for a good lighting with RT at last. At the moment it is completely oversaturated and requires reshade or constant adjustment of the gamma value. So I have really high hopes for RT.

  7. It all sounds absolutely great. But I am particularly interested in the following two points: A simulated Crew Chief for a more immersive and complete startup procedure. Later during early access, a brand new walkaround mode, allowing you to do pre-flight checks on your aircraft. This is completely new and can add an incredible amount of immersion. I hope for a good implementation
  8. Thats a very good question. I would also be very interested in this The goal should never be balance in multiplayer but maximum simulation depth. Until now, the 3rd party radars were much better simulated and now ED is finally catching up. That can only be seen as positive. I also hope that the progress will be carried over to other modules, but it's perfectly fine to start with the F16/18 first.
  9. To be honest, I think development is more or less paused until the F4 is released. I fear that the EF is still rather in the early stages of development and that we will have to wait a very long time for it.

  13. It is quite possible that these are the "normal" VR shortcomings. Things that look still "ok" in 2D look pretty bad in VR (low textures, trees etc...)
  14. Mal eine blöde Frage weil ich mich mit Entwicklung gar nicht auskenne. In wie fern unterscheidet sich das hier denn von dem was wir letztendlich in DCS sehen? Handelt es sich hier nur um Konzept Renderings, die nicht viel mit dem finalen Produkt zu tun haben oder entspricht das tatsächlich dem wie es letztendlich in DCS ist?

  17. Two years by a full time team. That is actually not so little. After it was announced in November that they were working hard on a release 22, I firmly assumed that it would come in Q1 23 at the latest. Now, at the end of Q2, there has still not been the big reveal. I am firmly convinced that the project is doing well and that the F4 will be an outstanding module. But much later than expected No one here is attacking or blaming the developer!
  18. Hmm, okay. Thank you for your answer. What resolution are we talking about with the G2? Native resolution or 100% Steam VR? Personally, I'm not really satisfied with the sharpness in the sweet spot. That's why I expected a significant improvement from the Crystel.
  19. Hi Merlin, the picture is only a little bit sharper than the one of the G2? That surprises me. According to prevuous reports, it should be massively better. Thats a bit disappointing...

  21. In my opinion HB's PR strategy is very good - to publish only a few updates, but of high quality. However, I also have to say that I misjudged the release date. After it became clear that it would no longer be released in 2022, I expected an early Q1 release. Now it's Q2 and we're still waiting for the big announcement. I don't even want to talk about the release. I don't mean that in a judgmental way
