  1. Let me look into doing this. I am new to mission making and I have only make single player so far. I would have to do it with the missions where you are the second flight of 4. The missions where you're the 4th plane in a 4 plane flight I actually had to set it up as 2 flights. A flight of 3 and then a separate flight of 1 for the player. Let me figure it out and then I'll upload them as single multi-player missions. Happy to hear your enjoying the campaign! Thanks Enduro14!! It's alway a good feel when people enjoy your work! You're welcome!
  2. Ahhhh got it. I didn't make the connection that you wanted and endless stream, but now that I reread your comment I don't know how I missed that. Agreed, my way of doing it would be a lot of work and actually never be "Endless"
  3. I'm guessing this is probably due to this being a rather simple fix. The logic for the bombs is already there, this is just adding an additional bomb type. Again, just a guess though as I am in no way a code jockey.
  4. Here's an idea... Create "Group 1" aircraft Duplicate "Group 1" and name it "Group 2" Set "Group 2" to late activation. Set up a trigger with the following logic. - Occurs once - When "Group 1" dead - Activate "Group 2" This would re-spawn a copy of that original group. Of course it doesn't have to be a copy, it could be anything you want it to be.
  5. Yeah, I was bummed when I found there wasn't a lot of it, so I decided to make my own and share!
  6. Just created an uploaded a P-47D scripted campaign. It's a 10 mission campaign that follows your exploits in the fictional 777th Fighter Group, The Lucy Devils. It has various types of missions from escort to fighter sweeps to ground attack. Many missions also have random difficulty in them to help with re-play. Lastly it also contains custom radio calls throughout to help with the feeling of immersion. Feel free to download and enjoy, all I ask is that you let me know when you find any issues with it. Being a 1 person endeavor I found all the glitches I could and fixed them, however I am sure there's a few more hidden in there as well. 7. Can you add the AN-M64 to the list of bombs available in the "Bomb in zone" trigger? I like to use that trigger to add smoke and fire to a target after bombers roll through and hit it. As of now the A-M64 is the only bomb that the B-17 carries so that trigger is unusable. For now I am just randomly placing infantry in the area where bombs are going to drop and using a "Unit damaged" trigger. It works, but it's a bit clumsy and clutters up the triggers list.
  8. Just looked at that mission in the Mission Editor since I don't think I have ever flow it. Yeah, whoever designed that is just evil. You get started right in the middle of a flak field of six 8.8 Flak 18's. That flipping brutal!! What I would do if you want to actually enjoy that mission is to open it in the Mission Editor and either delete two of those flak batteries. Then move the spawn point of the players plane back out away from the the airfield a bit so you can get it under control be for you get blasted out of the sky. Then save the mission under a different name so you don't overwrite the original. The other option with the flak would be to set a random flag and use it to spawn different numbers of the flak batteries. That way you never know how crazy the flak is going to be when you spawn in. For the spotting issue I would turn on the "Dots" option in the labels settings. This will give you a small dot on enemy units and make them easier to spot, but not be a giant sign of where they are like full labels do. It's a nice trade off until you get used to spotting in DCS.
  9. So I got tired of not having a working B-17 escort mission so I decided to make my own and share it. Feel free to download and give it a whirl. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3315236/
  10. Being quite disappointed that the Atlantic Wall mission didn't really work, I decided to make my own B-17 escort mission, and you get to share in the fun!! In this mission you'll once again wing up with Colt Flight and Cpt. Bill Alton. But this time you'll be leading the second element. You'll form up with two boxes of B-17's in the vicinity of Manston and escort them to an attack on the German airfield at St. Omer. 75% of the bombers must make it back to the coast of England for this to be a success. And there will be plenty of flak and fighters to try and thwart that effort. Once again there's custom radio calls to punch up the immersions. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3315236/ As always, comments are welcome. If you have an idea of how to make it better, let me know.
  11. Cool, I'll give that a try. Thanks!
  12. I would love to see more organic flight characteristics when a formation turns at a waypoint. As of now it is very robotic, almost like the whole formation is attached to a stick going through the lead aircrafts z axis and the stick is being rotated. It would be great to see that smoothed out a bit to be less robotic.
  13. Brilliant!! This idea hit me in the shower this morning as well. Nice to have it confirmed! Now time to go fiddle with the mission file! Thanks for the reply! Hmmmmmmm is there a tutorial anywhere for this Moose Scripting? 'm a video and film editor, not a coder, so I would need some learning. Thanks!
  14. So I have a bomber escort mission and I and trying to define the mission goal logic for it. It is a WWII mission that has a player flight of four P47's, and an additional flight of four AI P-47's that are escorting a big formation of B-17s. The B17's are in 2 boxes of 12 planes each. Each box consists of 4 groups of 3 bombers. So a total of 24 bombers that are 8 different groups in the mission. I would like for the mission goal to be that 75% of the bombers reach a trigger zone on the map. I'm trying to figure out how to create the logic for this. Your thoughts?
